Does anyone else have problems with authority? I've had problems with authority pretty much all my life - at school, at university, when I used to work etc. It's also been an issue in social groups, I tend to piss off the ring leaders (who often are narcissists lol) and end up collectively shunned/...

I don't think NTs follow rules. From my experience on WP it seems that a lot of NTs are the ones notorious for not following rules while a lot of Aspies prefer to do things by the book. If you're talking about social rules then it might be different but Aspies don't necessarily break social rules d...

Same haha. I find goodie-two-shoes boring as hell, and they always get a shock at my jokes!

I can definitely relate to a degree. I always seem to fall for f****d up men. I find nice, normal guys extremely boring, and I get bored quickly. I also feel that with normal people, I have to mask 24/7 and hide my true personality (my dark jokes, my misanthropy, my deep-seated cynicism).

On the topic of narcissists, has anyone seen videos by the YouTuber Kanika Batra? She is a diagnosed narcissist and sociopath, and she has made some good videos on what it's like having this condition. She seems to have had a lot of therapy and made good progress with self-improvement. She makes a v...

Sounds like you did too well  but, right, the problem is people don't want you to be yourself, which is not okay. at the same time, I would settle for being seen as intimidating...have you seen the absolute thirst over that video game vampire lady?? Which video game vampire lady? :p I'm an art...

Spotted Mushroom, I feel the same way too. Though I don't care about impressing other women, I have been doing some research on the way women dress, wear their hair, and make-up . So I went out and recently bought a few things so I would blend in. Yesterday, I ran out to run some errands and I happ...

All people have this problem until their routine is consistent enough for brain reward system to connect the dots between exercise and feeling good later. Some of the most beneficial exercises are hard and unpleasant in process and don't provide immediate gratification. Our reward system is very st...

So the other night I had a crazy, hyperrealistic dream. I dreamt that I got into uni and had a placement in London. I rented a room in a really run down, dilapidated house in London, it was a bit of a s**thole (the only type of accommodation a student can afford in London!). My room was basically fa...

I don't like walking and running on a treadmill.

I have to exercise in order to be only slightly overweight, instead of obese.

Walking is ok! Do you like hiking? I enjoy walks with friends and going on adventures.

I can 100% relate to this. I go through phases of being the same as you. One thing that helps me is to ignore what/how everyone else is doing, only compare myself to myself and try to only compete against myself, I find that really helps. Another thing that helps is rewarding oneself - treat yoursel...

Does anyone else have a strong dislike for exercise? I read somewhere that it's not uncommon with autistic folks. I seem to really hate exercise, despite the fact that I know that it is good for me. I used to do yoga in my room, but it's almost impossible to motivate myself to do it. Whenever I join...

Yeah, I consider myself an independent, I can be submissive by choice like follow if I want, but it's not a need, I am also not interested in dominating or leading others. I prefer interdependence or following. If someone needs me to lead, I can do that temporarily. Yeah same here. I find being a f...

I am a big fan of Soviet/Russian movies. I signed up to this great website: https://sovietmoviesonline.com I myself speak Russian but you can watch the films with subtitles. I recently watched two great films on there: One called "They Called Him Robert" about an android who gets thrust in...
