I personally believe that if there had been a conspiracy, the perpetrators had been on the CIA'S payroll as contract agents and contacts, but not career agents involved in a secret war against Castro's Cuba. Agree with all of the above points. Thomson makes it clear it's highly unlikely the CIA or any other existing government agency would have risked an actual assassination of JFK and that other parties were involved (He would not volunteer whom?). And agree with what's being said that the CIA and FBI ...

The USA loves violence even, if they pretend not to. Just look at all the violence in their media. But they're ironically terrified of nudity, even though they act as if they're even more obsessed with sex than they are with violence. It is a contradiction of societies around the world, prudish soc...

I'll never forget a young girl (maybe 12/13 yo) getting her hands on the microphone. She started ranting about how gays disgusted her, and how when she arrived and walked through the entrance, some gay man tried to proposition her. I remember thinking to myself, seriously, apart from the fact that ...

A benevolent, wise dictator is a very good form of government and this is what people hope for (but usually don't get). Fast, always does the right thing, no debates, no BS, no corruption, long term focus. Many people in Asia look up to Lee Kuan Yew who is the definition of a benevolent dictator wh...

It's funny, I remember back in 2016 when there was at least 5-6 WP members who accused many of us of having "trump derangement syndrome". Actually at some point people were getting warnings for saying things about trump voters. Whatever one thinks of trump, he never hid his intentions. Its...

Fifth, the NSDAP has always been recognized as a far-right party. Insisting they're a left-wing party because of the name makes as much sense as insisting North Korea is democratic because it's the People's Democratic Republic of North Korea. I think its not constructive to compare political philos...

After gaining a taste of the freedom potential in Liberal Democracy, now we're getting a taste of brutal violence ripping it away from our fellow citizens. Now in USA, and probably in other Western countries as the dominoes fall. But are we really seeing the decay of the west as something new or un...

I think if the origin of this practice is understood then its implementation in modern times should (technically) be considered oppressive. Probably. Though that raises the question of, if it was oppressive, does that mean it's still oppressive. Motives change. In Shinto, the Japanese penchant for ...

Isn't trump offering Afrikaans people an opportunity for green cards? I am amazed to see stories of expats who left south Africa made money and who have come back to buy land. Sounds like for some people at least, they miss home.

In what is the most sober, insightful interviews I've seen on the JFK assassination; author of "Last second in Dallas" Josiah Thomson lays out a indisputable case for Kennedy being assassinated by 2 and up to 3 assassins with the fatal shot coming from the now famous grassy knoll. Thomson ...

Democrats aren't the only ones. the use of offshore detention centres under the mandatory detaining of refugees entering Australia was introduced by left wing Labour Prime Minister Paul Keating called the Migration amendment Act ...

Oh I see, I was responding to the girl boss angle. If you go to recruitment for ICE officers (there's a lot of demand at the moment) its being pitched at women and people who are demographically (ironically) targets of ICE.
