If no stove to cook in, then there are several alternatives: 1) a one or two burner electric hot plate -- I've used these before when I didn't have a stove available. I buy anything like that on-line. The nearest store to me that would have one is 35 miles away in a town that I haven't even been in over the last six to nine months. I don't consider microwaves to be all that useful, anyway. About the only thing that I might consider cooking in a microwave is bacon...
