I often hear/read some of these artists get referred to as Funk instead of Disco. I guess the terminology can vary by area or certain circles/groups. Disco grew out of funk, there's definitely overlap between the two styles as a result. Soul also overlaps pretty heavily with early disco. An example...

After a second place in the Road Atlanta 300 it's time for something completely different: the Alabama 500 at Talladega.

This will be the first superspeedway race I've done since switching to the 545 hp package (down from 560). 117 laps and full throttle the whole time.

Quebec won the Cup, sweeping Winnipeg in 4 games. No blow-outs and the last three were incredibly hard, they completely shutdown my offence again and again. How does one even win sports games? Am I really bad at them, or am I just picking the wrong teams? With NHL 95 it took me about half a season ...

A male to female trans person with a clear advantage in size can't be matched up all that well. This is were limitations on weight classes come into play. Also, when large numbers of competitors averaging out weights will be a big problem. Meanwhile what's been overlooked is that a transwomen who i...

So? Do sport by weight classes instead or something? That's actually something I can get behind within reason. A lot of sports wouldn't benefit from that. Like, how would soccer benefit from weight classes? Heavier players get both pros and cons from being bigger. Likewise, a lot of sports can be p...

A child at that age who is trans may socially transition, which is to say present as the gender they identify with. But hey, apparently even sports for kids who haven't started puberty is too serious to let trans people compete on the appropriate team. And yet we're supposed to believe bigotry isn'...

I'm sure the biological female boxers who get battered senseless by male to female trans boxers suddenly think that too in the middle of a match. A Brazilian boxer end up with a skull fracture after a similar fight. Blahblahblah pro-tier combat sports... ...so a 9 year old shouldn't be allowed to p...
