My conclusion is that most people who are actually cured by this approach are cured simply because they are too f'n stupid to remember. They are magically healed by ignorance. Forgetting what ruined their bond with you in the first place. What else could POSSIBLY make that statement anywhere near tr...

it is what has blocked my creative writing Yeah... I only write short stories for a reason. 8O The biggest problem is that I have to spend so much time with my eyes settled in one area because I constantly edit what I write to better represent what I am seeing in my head. It's like having a really ...

I still have yet to commit to a diagnosis, but I trust my own knowledge/judgement along with the few professionals on campus who feel the same. Anyway... as far as internet and sensitivities... I'm not so sure it's the internet or if it's typing/keeping my eyes still for too long. When I was like 13...

I consider myself as having been very studiously NT, as in have observed NT interaction for the purpose of simulating it in my own life, for a very long time. I think I am probably somewhat the same... except my strategy is based around being quiet and very reserved around new people as I analyze t...

Can someone explain this thread to me? Is everyone referring to things that most people say as a form of politeness which almost always means something either totally different or opposite? If so how can you be sure that your understanding is correct? And uhhh... yeah... would they be considered alm...

I am like this. It's a struggle. I don't like all the distractions; they make me crazed. Yeah... crazed is a good word for how I get, especially with my roommate being the way he is. All he does is yell the most offensive crap ever, talk to me non stop, throw things, yell some more, punch and kick ...

I'm gunna try and responde to my replies later... I spent too much time trying to type a rant about noise blowing my attention apart and how my roommate is the worst case of ADHD impulsiveness ever... and now my brain is all much, and my vision all nice and spastic like in the movie " the butterfly ...

Is there anything more irritating/frustrating for you? Library's usually aren't even adequate for me when I want to sit down and get things done. ANY noise that is inconsistent or alternating in volume might as well be a a bomb going off which blasts anything that I am working with in my mind fifty ...

Everyone I know says that I look really angry in the picture that I use for this forum. Which I cannot see, no matter how hard I try. Angry is probably an understatement... one girl said, " You look like you want to kill someone." and my ex-girlfriend would complain if I had it as my display picture...

Would it be considered evil to view most of humanity and people in general with a terrible sense of pity? No, I don't think that is considered evil. I think it is generally considered patronising. Hah... I'm okay with that. Watch a few war documentaries and read the BBC and tell me if you don't fee...

I think an over looked flaw of this entire argument is the fact that the autism spectrum in general is extremely obscure once you venture outside of blatantly obvious cases. I have little doubt that a significant of the people both diagnosed or whom believe they have AS or PDD-NOS have either some o...

You guys are all under 25, aren't you? Only people with so much future ahead of them can spend so much time whining about things that are OVER AND DONE WITH, can't be changed and don't matter anymore. I'm so sorry that none of you have EVER HAD A SINGLE PLEASANT OR POSITIVE MOMENT IN YOUR ENTIRE LI...

Would it be considered evil to view most of humanity and people in general with a terrible sense of pity? They have no capacity for memory or reflection, and are so much like sheep that it wears me out just thinking about it. They spend their entire lives controlled by their emotions and are abandon...

Join the club. I actually can't remember the lowest portions of my childhood... roughly ages 7-12. I even withdrew from middle school in 6th grade, only to sit in my room for three years playing video games, leaving once every three months for orthodontist appointments. But... Once I decided to go b...

Good advice. What I have noticed recently after a chem exam last night and a lab/quiz today is that I can be doing things that require a knowledge of the math physically and know exactly what to do and what math to throw in it... BUT if you give me a quiz covering all the things I just did that is w...

For how I see things ... it's hard to explain I suppose. Nothing every literally changes in my field of view, and I've never really hallucinated outside of things in the corner of my eye like shadows or bugs. How I see things could be described as though I turned off the part of me that acknowledges...
