I think you should tell. An eating disorder is very dangerous. I am a mother. I know if that was my cold I would like you to tell. |

I think it is time to stop caring and stop buying expensive gifts for people who treat you the way they do. They did not invite you because they did not want to invite you. You need to face it. And complaining about it will only bring you more humilliation and sadness. I tried to connect with my in-... |

I think the only issue I would have is a wedding ring also serves as a "back off" symbol for people. Actually that is not entirely true. My husband noticed that when he was wearing the weeding ring women started to flirt with him. That was one of the reasons we stopped using our wedding rings. Fema... |

Asking for help is not being dependent. It is very brave, actually. It means you are aware you have problems and you want help to solve them because you cannot do it alone. We all need help from others, that why we live in a society and not everyone on their own. Are you diagnosed? Cant you file for... |

Well, your mom sounds like she might have AS... But do you really care? Are you trying to find an explanation because you need to believe she loves you but it is her AS the reason for her behavior? If that is what you really want, then believe she has it and continue trying to cope with her. My mom ... |

My husband and I do not wear rings. He did not propose. Actually I did. I told him something like: since we are having a baby I think we should get married. We were living together for 5 years by then and I was about 3 months into pregnancy. So he never bought an engagement ring. And when we got mar... |

"Plain looking women"? Trying to date someone 19 years younger? Well, I think you have your problem right there. You have great expectations. That never works. I learned when I was about 20 that you do not base your relationships on looks, but on content. When I met my husband I did not even like th... |

Doctors in public hospitals have been forced to perform abortions by authorities in the 23. week. These aborted children lived for up to an hour afterwards. For comparison, half of all babies who are born prematurely at this age survive- That is horrible! Where is that happening? In China? Doctors ... |

"Momma's boys" are those poor little kids their mothers are so overprotective the poor little guys cannot even make a decision for themselves. They do not get dirty because momma would get mad, do not run because they might fall, they cannot interact with guys their own age because they do not know ... |

Several people here on WP have tried to make me feel bad about my My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic special interest. Someone also started an argument with me over my one of my other special interests, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, by saying it was a bad movie. They kept the argument going ev... |

Regarding abortion, I support that but there needs to be safeguards here too. i.e. not too far into the pregnancy. Abortion should not be allowed to become an alternative to proper contraception. 1. I do not think any doctor would practice an abortion too far into pregnancy. It is dangerous for bot... |

My daughter was diagnosed with 1) oppositional confrontational disorder, and 2) ADHD before she was diagnosed with AS. The first psycologist we took her to said she was "too bright". She said bright people had behavioral issues and as she grew up she would overcome those issues. That is not a diagno... |

My Aspie husband and Aspie daughter are extremely attached. To the point sometimes I feel them clingy. I need to work very hard to comply with their emotional needs. And my husband says sometimes he feels alone because I do not give enough. So yes, I would say yes. |

To start with, how old is he? If he has AS I think the time he spends stimming will reduce as he grows up. Maybe you need to try with different toys/games. If I wanted to let my child playing unsupervised and without stimming when she was younger, I only had a set of things I knew would work: painti... |

You do not need to lie, but you do not need to say the truth. You can say you will not distub her anymore with your violin playing (which is true), but you do not need to ask for her permission to practice with the mute. At this point she will be angry and will not give her permission. And what you ... |
