I haven't been given a hearing test in probably 15 years or so, but I suspect I have hearing damage from a combination of hearing many gunshots without hearing protection, and several years of playing live music in bars without any hearing protection. There was one show where I was really close to a...

My hair is down to my butt and I can't stand brushing it but I have to about daily because it's wavy so it gets tangled easily. I sympathize with you on that. My hair is wavy and down to my lower back, but I go through with brushing it multiple times a day, really carefully so as not to break any s...

I have PTSD from being in a really bad domestic violence situation for years. I had my bones broken on multiple occasions, I was sexually assaulted countless times (usually multiple times a day), I had guns pointed at me and knives held to my throat, I was subjected to starvation. I could go on and ...

I was overweight as a child but as a teen and adult I've been thin. I was actually underweight a few months ago, but I'm back into normal BMI range now.

Unfortunately I think it was rushed too much and she triggered a really massive hiding-under-the-table style panic attack, and now I don't even want to go in that room anymore. Oh yeah, EMDR can totally do that. My therapist was pretty recent in starting me on the EMDR (before, we were just waiting...

I take prozac and xanax. I'd like to substitute Medical Marijuana for one or both of them. Does anybody know about substituting M for P and/or X ? I was on diazepam, another benzodiazepine, same class of drug as xanax. I don't think that weed can replace the anxiety-calming of a benzodiazepine exac...

It's legal on a recreational level where I live. I don't think it helps any of my aspergers symptoms. Some strains have helped with my chronic back and rib pain (I've had a lot of my ribs broken), and knee pain. White widow worked pretty well. Other strains don't help the pain so much and on top of ...

Last time I used WP regularly was years ago. Not counting my recent activity and new account, of course. I think I stopped around 2011 or 2012. I was still in university and honestly looking back those were my last truly good times. I had more difficulty with aspergers back when I started university...

I forget things due to being caught up in stuff. I'll make a mental note to let's say take the trash out. But then I'll find out about something cool and spend hours researching it This is something I do a lot lol. I also rely on setting notes on my phone in order to not forget appointments and thi...

I had a car accident a few streets away from my work a few years back. The next day people asked about it and I said something like, "Yeah, a blind old lady hit me. She couldn't see the huge, red stop sign." And that was about the end of it. It's really no big deal unless you make it a bi...

^^ You are both very lucky - and I'm not being snide. I loved to wear perfume when I was a young woman, but I was very limited in what I could wear safely (i.e., without getting terrible headaches). Fortunately they were scents that I loved (cinnamon, orange, vanilla; Shalimar was a favorite), but ...

People don't care about seeing a car that has damage. It happens. It's not something you get judged over. It's also not even your car. Why worry? Also, almost all my work experience is in schools. There is no dropoff/pickup routine I am aware of that will involve literally everyone seeing you. Anyon...

....and not just because they are reading "body language"...how do you instantly read the body language of 200 different people if you are in a large lecture in a classroom? Perhaps you read the body language of a few and make inferences on the mood of others, but that would seem flawed t...
