I dreamt I was in a hospital, everything was white or beige, and I wandered into the hospital cafeteria, and before I ordered any food I heard somehow, like the information was in the very air itself, that I was supposed to first sit in front of a portrait of the executive chef that ran the place, ...

I don't date at all anymore, too traumatized to do so. Yesterday I practically freaked out just having a doctor check out my knees (turns out one of them has the kneecap in the wrong place, which explains my knee pain - bones are grinding together). I could understand there being a difficulty dating...

Thanks for the well wishings, and the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind and consider trying it out if I can find a good practitioner that will see me. After talking with some other PTSD sufferers I think I've realized that, since it hasn't really been that long since my trauma ended, I probably am no...

Do you ever have really difficult therapy sessions that cause you to have a difficult time for days or more? In my last therapy session (it was Monday) we went over something that we haven't covered yet. It's EMDR therapy, and my therapist basically was gathering information to prepare the actual EM...

Not anymore. Ironically, IRL I'm actually triggered by people who have mental illnesses of many types, because I was traumatized by a very f***ed up individual who was very messed up in the head and had a lot of issues. I would call them "high functioning crazy" because they were extremely...

Chronic pain, mainly in my ribs.

Made an appointment for getting my spine checked out, filled out the forms for the appointment I'll have tomorrow regarding my knee issues, and later today I'll go to the 2nd meeting of my weekly trauma-sensitive yoga group.

I had a relationship with a smoker while being a non-smoker. I became a smoker for the entire relationship, lol. That said, I haven't smoked a cigarette in years - I stick to tobacco-free forms of nicotine use. It's my vice, and I prefer not to get rid of it. I'm actually disappointed that taking bu...

I've heard some worrying things about energy drinks. My daughter likes them, she's only 14, and I tried gently warning her off them. Unfortunately, at that age, if I get too heavy-handed she'll rebel and only drink more  Maybe they ought to be classed as a kind of drug/medication instead of a...

I answered "neutral/depends"

Generally I am pretty neutral, certainly not in a negative way though. It used to fluctuate a lot, for now it seems really stable.

Nicotine pouches.

Tobacco free, it's just nicotine powder, flavoring and a base to help it absorb.

Most days, that's all I buy lol

Depression with psychotic features - hearing voices Isn't hearing voices one of the weirdest things? It wasn't until after I had stopped experiencing psychosis that I figured out (through asking people who were around me at the time) whether the voices were real. I heard a lot of people behind me (...

I don't think it makes me selfish. Maybe in the past, when I was a child, but not in the present. I am very prone to speak my mind, but I put a lot of consideration into the feelings of others in IRL interactions, generally speaking. If someone angers me or if I perceive someone as mean or rude, I w...

Interesting read.

I've been victimized pretty badly myself, and I would say my poor reading of people helped me land in that situation. I missed a lot of red flags.
