I've not seen this for years, and tbh I was thinking it was going to be quite poor. But it was actually reasonably enjoyable and contained some of the atmosphere of 2001. Worth watching, for the sake of completion.

I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for psychologists who do private referrals for assessment in the UK? As in, not through a GP referral. I find it hard using internet search engines to find anyone, and the people I have found seem a bit suspect or have practically no information about the...

If you don't know much about her interests I'm guessing you're not good friends with her? My advice would be to not spend too much money, she might find it a bit scary coming from someone she doesn't know well. At that age I would have liked a soft toy, or a cd.

Oh, also, if you have facebook I recommend Karla's ASD page. Aspergirls by Rudy Simone is a good book for gaining insight into how ASDs present in girls.
