Within a few days of the communist manifesto being printed violent revolutions started. So it's obviously a call to violence. I think marx identified with his pyramid a leadership structure, but he painted it as oppression. The person who started a business and owns a factory is giving the workers j...

Thanks natural plastic. Ok it seems Marxism has many flaws and isn't self evident truth that should be the basis of many college courses then The revolution in Russia was engineered by sending lenin in there by train. So that was not natural at all. Not sure about the other revolutions. I think marx...

Well this thread is about what the average person can do to effect political change. (Any discussion of the merits of Marxism ,or how it is neutral belong in the other thread.) I believe it is to get involved in creating college courses, becoming a professor, writing newspaper articles, mentoring yo...

BANANA Thanks for writing that out. There seems to be confusion as the people replying seem to think Marxism is a call to action. Whereas you're saying it's just a description of society. Did marx prescribe any particular action to solve society's problems? I think you mentioned he advocated violenc...

Well the right consider abortion to be killing someone,so the government would need the power to stop it. As even some libertarians will be calling the police if their life is threatened.

I'm not especially pro or against abortion but that's what they believe.

It was work from home 100% and I was using c#. I learnt the language on the job as one language is pretty much like another. Especially two oop languages. I didn't have anything strict happen, like being monitored or my time being tracked. I put in the work and got good results. Shame I lost it due ...

If a child is adopted they are usually not told. It's a big thing to put upon a child and in their formative years it can influence them negatively to hear the truth....too early. The song wasn't just a neutral thing that was just information it was a retelling of one opinion in an agressive way. Me...

Marxism says the workers are being exploited and that leads to inevitable revolution. Many people would disagree with those assertions. Whereas you're stating them as fact. If you don't believe those things then what do you actually believe? Everyone seems to say that Marxism is left wing but you're...

So the universities have many courses to do with politics, which are admittedly Marxist. But no equivalent conservative courses. So obviously the young adults are being taught biased information. This is clearly more effective than voting or protesting. I'm not going to discuss whether Marxism is go...

Dismissing someone as nuts without actually saying why they are wrong is just lazy.

The Leeds University site says they are influenced by the Frankfurt school which is Marxist.

One thing she wrote that struck me is when she says you shouldn't see autism as a deficit.

I think it is a disability and therefore a deficit.

But, as said above, her experience would be different.
So she could transcend her disability.

Whereas the men starting 'i can't get a date' threads can't.
