HELL YEAH! I have hypersensitive hearing, and a skewed frequency response. Even some sounds that seem outside of the area of human hearing hurt me. I HATE some sounds that SOME actually LIKE! wait, this isn't normal? Agree, I think they put a name on something that is actually quite common and normal. Everyone I know has misophonia. No, this is not normal at all. OK I have a question: I do not have misophonia and I am in no way suggesting that it is not real or that those who do have it do not suffer. But.... How do you react to the sound of your own chewing? Hi I am brand new here. I was glad to find this forum and site because before I found you I thought I was the only person on the planet with my issues. I have Misophonia and a couple of other things as well. But this is so nice to see that other people know how I feel.
