I can only imagine what some people might "leave" in the offering plate for a tithe.
Priapus was a favorite statue in gardens to increase fertility, but
I thought that Pan would be more your style ArrantPariah,chasing nymphs and so forth. |

It would have been awful being a girl 80 years ago,not much you could do for birth control.
I had c-sections for both my kids,I guess the babies and I could have died back then.
And you had to wear dresses,skirts,girdles,panty hose,slips,ugh. |

But childhood illness could be fatal,my great- grandmother had the first six children... |
