Don't know about Obama but a good era for progressives/liberals. In Politics and public opinion you have these pendulum swings. You had the "liberal" New Deal era 1930's-1970's, The conservative era 1980s-2000's. And now public opinion from LBGT to the Confederate Flag etc is rushing left ...

Growing up up the 60's and 70's and being called all sorts of anti homosexual slurs(I'm straight but just not being girl obsessed got you those labels) now it seems like I am living in an alternative universe. Just saying gays should not be beaten up was a radically liberal position to take where I ...

In order to overturn the law the Republicans have to win the Presidency and both houses of Congress which is unlikely. I do expect the next President to try and reform it as the $2,000 to $5,000 up front payments will become an grassroots issue in the upcoming election. This will likely fail the con...

Removing Asperger's was quite foolish, as there are obvious differences. It was a deliberate effort to cut costs. I'm not sure I'd go with those exact types, and probably not with those names, but I would absolutely be for bringing Asperger's back to the DSM and have it categorized in different types. I think it would be hard to make correct types though and many will be a bit of this and that. Some will alway...
