I don't believe ASD is primarily a gut-caused disorder. I've had minor problems with my gut for years--perhaps major ones when I was very young. ASD's, though, is primarily a neurological difference.

Fecal transplants are used for people with things like colitis and C-Diff infections.

I'm as lazy as all heck!

If I wasn't so lazy, maybe I would have gone somewhere in life.

I'm not doing too badly--but I'm not doing so great either.

Full-time Special Ed is definitely not the answer. It would leave him permanently behind in everything, with a stigma attached to him to boot. The ideal would be what he is now--or perhaps a gifted program. Unfortunately, he does have to get used to "seat work," and to doing things he doesn't want t...

I compliment Imelda for exuding Optimism.

You know why people are getting alienated? It's because we've lost the art of grace. Complimenting someone is seen as being somehow insincere. I don't agree with that notion.

I've read some of her works--profound, yet accessible.

I was sad when I found out she passed away.

She was quite healthy until recently.

I just don't like "forced socialization." It irritates the heck out of me. That's why the advent of smart phones is so great--it's not so socially unacceptable to use them in company.

Hey Wycca, How's it going?

Yep...public transportation is of the utmost importance. Saves gas money.

I wish it were 2001, when gas was $1.00 a gallon on average.

Nope....never happened to me.

I've gotten into the wrong car, though. It was the exact same model, make, year, and color as mine.

Aren't there exceptions for people with no health insurance? It's ridiculous to make people not have health insurance until November 15 because of some "open enrollment" type of thing. Well, it seems as if you could only buy insurance before the Open Enrollment Period if you have a "qualifying condi...

Do you like the guy? I sense you probably like him just as a friend. Whatever you do, don't even think about sexting. Otaku is right: prosecution is possible because of underage texting. Tell your friend to stop until he is 18. And never ask a minor to send him those sorts of pictures, and never sen...

Yep...that gas money. It's a bummer living in a place with no public transportation.

Good luck in your search!

I don't remember where you are located.

Poachers are why I don't like poached eggs.

Seriously: we really have to respect our animals; they are the ones who created us humans.

Alas, I usually have to go somewhere when this happens.

My dreams tend to be pretty vivid: sometimes of a paranoid nature, sometimes of a wish-fulfilling nature.

I've had 10-15 people pounce on me.

I've found hundreds of dollars in the street.

It's natural to want to express your appreciation for good deeds. It provides incentive for another person to continue to perform these deeds.
