I own my house, bought it about twenty years ago. I'm foggy on the details about getting the loan, but info from that long ago mightnot be relevant today anyhow. For me, it was a better way to go than an apartment. The monthly payments were cheaper then and now compared to an apartment. insur...

I don't exactly have a house, but I bought an apartment last week. Got the keys yesterday. For me, the hardest part was all the official paperwork, even though I got help from a pro. I'd recommend making sure you have someone like that to advice you, too. My realtor was on the city council, reviews...

I don't own a dwelling space yet, but I hope to one day (hopefully soon-ish). Hopefully others who have achieved property ownership will come along with insight but until then: I've done a lot of research on the subject to understand all of the various (somewhat hidden) costs involved. I thought yo...

Read the Intelligent investor and Joel Greenblatt. You shouldn't expect instant returns but I am up 250% this year so it is possible but you are not able to predict the market, merely uncover factors others overlook.

What are your thoughts on working on both of these at the same time?

I mean I don't see there being an issue provided you have enough time. Maybe read over an old A+ book to get it in your system. As for C++ it can be a bit intimidating, but I don't see why you can't do both.

I have been trying to keep the sale price to a minimum so I don't need to worry about payments as much, at least compared to worrying about rent. Also I don't have a car for the same reason. The only other major expense I have is student loans, and even those are not so bad in terms of amount. The b...

I have wanted to put off getting a place, but landlords have been sneaky and have been asking for security deposits up front. I wanted to save up a bit more, but with some help from my parents and investments, I might be able to get a place. I don't want to be tired down, but if I am going to pay 10...

I have wondered about apps, but outside the obvious (like Talkspace) I don't see anything. I was thinking about maybe a volunteer type app for mentor ship of neuro diverse people, but seems like it would need a lot of resources before it could be sustainable.

I look at the 'Wilders Security Forums' website sometimes, but my understanding of most of the technical matters is either rudimentary or nonexistent. I'm quite interested in Veracrypt, which I've used quite a lot. I'd like to investigate Zulucrypt as well, but I can't really make head or tail of i...

I have been obsessed with these topics as of late, in particular cryptography. Do any of you delve into these topics a bit?

There are bo candidates I like at the moment, not even third-party choices. I may do a write-in. I don't know yet.

Can't disagree.
Jojo went woke and Blankenship is for red flag laws and those are the only two on the ballot in my state. Suck as I normally would normally vote for them.
