| My point is that there are many parts of the U.S. where progressivism will only happen if it's forced on them. For example, what would it take for a deep red state like Wyoming or Alabama to embrace California or New York values? |

The Texas Panhandle is the most conservative part of the U.S., with Roberts County being the country's most conservative county.
Also this is *West* Texas A&M, in Canyon, just outside of Amarillo, not Texas A&M, which is in College Station, near Houston. |

It's simple. Conservatives derail any opportunity to close the gap because they believe that woman should be subservient to men.
Hence why they voted for Trump in 2016--they couldn't even stomach the idea of a female president.
Plus their rigid stance on abortion, IVF, etc. |
