I don't have a degree yet or a full-time job. I work part-time and that covers all my expenses as far as school and gadgets go. Housing is something I don't have to pay for because I am living with my grandparents. But I have thought about how I would manage my money after I start making more of it,...

Social difficulties are encountered by many, A.S. or not. If all sorts of people with social difficulties wind up getting diagnosed as AS, then, yes, there is a problem. Hopefully, those who can make official diagnoses of A.S. do consider logical foundations for their diagnoses, such as psychometric...

Concussions before the age of six usually are not as bad as those that occur later in life. The skull and brain are still growing and can regenerate or compensate after some damage at that early age. Specific parts of the brain that affects social skills enough to warrant a diagnosis would have to b...

I wish you good luck in obtaining your PhD. Don't feel like a failure. I'd like to have a Master's degree and teach computer science or computer information systems at a college someday, but I'm still a semester away from obtaining a mere Associate's degree. You've made it quite far in my opinion--a...

I think Mr. Obama failed to realize he was no longer on the set of Saturday Night Live(tm) when he made this joke. Also, it's the kind of joke an 11th grader might make. I don't know what it says about how good a President Obama would be, but I do think it shows that Mr. Obama isn't a fabulous joke ...

You know what? I work as a cashier in a grocery store, and I actually care about my customers (until they yell at me - then I hope they burn in hell jk nah, I just kill them with kindness) But if they are friendly to me, I really do care a lot about them and want to make them happy. I echo the thou...

Richard, if you decide to pursue an online degree, make absolutely sure that it is from a regionally-accredited college or university. Otherwise you may be stuck with a degree that some employers and graduate schools will view as worthless.

do you not think it's a little AS that I'm somewhat fixated on your fixation with another person's fixation on you... What? You've lost me. if a NT spent their time on aspergers sites defending the honor of NT's he or she would cease to be NT That does not make much sense. The person would not "cea...

Check to see if fan is rotating. Fans these days can be in the front of a desktop tower, so you may need to look in there with a flashlight to see if there is any movement or put your hand by the vent to see if any air is coming out. If there is no rotation or air coming out from the fan, then you w...

Unfortunately, it seems every religion has its extremists. Those responsible for severely injuring this young man should be quickly and justly punished.

Not at all. She's the one suddenly being awful to me, not the other way round. I took interest in her as a friend of sorts and was happy to help her even after that weird phone call - gradually taking distance and then becoming hostile was on her part. I don't think she had romantic interest per se...

It's just really hard for me to tell whether this is normal behavior or just bad behavior by NTs. I know some insulting is done as a joke, but that is just annoying for me a lot of times. It is not ethical to badmouth someone, but then in various situations the ethical standards might be different. ...
