I don't care what people think of me, outside of those close to me. I had few men laugh at me for wearing a N95 mask back in March, 2020. (I didn't want to pass on what looked like SARS-CoV to my mother.) People still look at me now when out and wearing a N95. I have zero care, and it all doesn't ma...

Thankful for those holes in the walls that let some light through. Light staining the walls that beautiful pink as it passes through. Sometimes you luck out in a life of bad luck and can see that glimmer. That negative is always there, because life can make that one, but that positive of hope keeps ...

Not really. It could always be worse. But, just living, day-to-day, is hard enough for me. A struggle full of suffering, where holding on to the things that bring hope, make it easier, and are the only things that really keep me going. Not really woe is me, rather just reality, as I can be objective...

Kicked the littered cans on my side of the road and on my property across the road to the neighbors'. Their party, and the company one keeps keeps one company. I was nice and kicked them next to their bin. I do get annoyed by those that litter, and far more so when it comes to an area that's functio...

My mother is left-handed. I'm left-handed.

Never really think about it, as it's easy to adapt to most things. I kinda messed up my right hand, so I guess it's good that I'm left-handed, as some things I wasn't very good at with my right.

I've learnt to block out a lot of noise. Sorta grabbing it and throwing it into the background and focusing on other things. It's mostly a problem when trying to sleep, and that'll be speech, as I have the old habit of wondering what is being said. Helps with the bad tinnitus. Some noises can hurt m...

I tend to be the opposite of many with autism as I dislike heavy/constricting things around/on my torso. Maybe odd for autism. I like swimming underwater, though (outside of the dark depths, as that sets off the claustrophobia). I'm alright with being held, which will be odd when the constricting th...

Marked breathlessness with exertion that didn't cause such before. Noticed it with my first real "hike" in a couple of months. That'll be COVID-19 lung damage. Nothing really new. I had the same thing from severe viral pneumonia as a toddler, which took several years to recover from. I gue...

I can work with another loner well enough, though.

I really have nothing. Some things I avoided out of bitterness or texture, but I'll eat basically anything that's common to my various cultures (plural as lots of different European countries have and had an influence on what I ate and eat). I'm quite easy to please when it comes to foods, apparentl...

I'm sorta the same as firemonkey, and my HFA + Schizophrenia combo likely makes me akin to a moderately functioning autistic. I'll always be independent, albeit quite poor, but that's alright.

A disability pension keeps me fed and the bills paid. The roof, I lucked out on.

^ There's potential attention, empathy, fame and/or "fortune" to be had. Which this guy got to various degrees.

The apology given isn't genuine.

It's cool, and thank you, IsabellaLinton. I'm feeling quite a bit better. Hoping your number goes up more.

In my case, it was genuinely all my fault, and I made my own hell (not being my usual self-blaming self here).

+1
