I was born on what would be the last day of winter in the Northern hemisphere (19 March). But I know of autistic people born in each of the 12 months of the year. Don't think there's any connection.

Finding full Supernanny UK episodes on YouTube is like finding the yeti. I also agree the British episodes are generally better, not so much because of the families themselves though but the format. The UK series episodes feel more like unpolished documentaries while the American series is more like...

Baxter's pea and ham soup is too bitty for me.
The Heinz one is much better imo.

I sometimes zone out, especially when I've been feeling stressed or worried about something. I just focus on one particular thing and ignore all else around me. When people try to snap me out of it, I often get confused or panicky. I tend to zone out quite a bit when I'm somewhere very busy (e.g a s...

In my school we said "yes, miss" or "yes, sir" instead. Saying "here" or "yep" kinda sounds rude to me. 8O
In uni, though, we just get given a checklist and we tick our names off, and pass it around. Works better for larger classes.

Sorry for bumping this, but I think the site still has this issue. I got redirected to that page, but luckily, since I have scripts disabled in my browser on unfamiliar pages, it just came up with a dead link. At first I got scared and thought it was an issue on my end (e.g. a redirecting malware)! ...

I've always felt like the gender that I already am, female no matter I had a Pokemon birthday cake or a Barbie birthday cake. I would like to think that I'm half tomboy and half girly girl. I know this is a stupid question but I was called a man before and it really got me worked up about this. Fro...

I'd just rename Asperger's "autism", because that's what it is, and it saves confusion.

My favourite food in general is probably cheese. I like virtually all kinds of it, and it's so versatile. But if you're talking about actual dishes, I like pizza, pasta, mild chili con carne, chicken korma, hamburgers, Chinese noodles, liver, salmon, and steak. Not all together, I should mention. T...

Some of the finest cheese in the nation is produced on my doorstep.

Aw, Lancashire cheese is divine. Especially when eaten with piccalilli.

My music taste is quite varied, but to sum it up, I love rock music - especially post-rock, prog/experimental rock, and a bit of shoegaze here and there. I also love ambient, some IDM, and a bit of classical.

And I like to listen to my music loud too!

Depending on the bra, I am either a DD or an E. (I know DD = E in some countries but where I live they are different sizes). I don't think of my breasts as big though - slightly above average, maybe, but they never caused me any back problems so I wouldn't call them big. They do, however, make sleep...

I used to think I was asexual because I didn't get crushes on boys while my friends did. But in the end it turned out that it wasn't because I was asexual, but because I was into girls instead.
