So I'm an artist and I like to put movies on while I work because believe it or not they help me concentrate. Like "get this page done by the time this movie is over", helps focus my mind. Now lately I've been on a kick of kung fu films (Jackie Chan in his Golden Harvest phase, Stephen Chow, the goo... |

Quick question. What do Citizen Kane, Watchmen, and Sgt. Pepper by The Beatles have in common? They've all been voted best movie, best comic book, and best album by critics and magazines of their respective mediums. Now this isn't necessarily because they have the best stories, best art, or best son... |

If you've played Earthbound then you know all the reasons it's good. The charming story, witty dialogue, quirky eclectic world, what's not to like? But there's a specific reason I think this game is one of the best RPG's ever, even put up against RPG's of today. When you go into a hostile area, you ... |

I thought LTTP was easy. I dunno if I'd call it "easy", because it took me forever to beat it the first time through (then again I was 8 and I didn't have a guide). I'd call it balanced. It's challenging, but not impossible. Of course now I can beat it in my sleep. I think my best time is a little ... |

There are many worse things in that game than "bat over pit", IMO :x And at least it's not like the first Ninja Gaiden, where that's prettymuch the entire game. Oh yea the re-spawning falcons. I HATED that. It's even worse in the third game, where barrages of enemies just come at you. In the final ... |

See what drove me crazy is that game applies to what Press Start calls "Bat Over Pit" theory, which is where you jump over a pit and some flying enemy gets in a cheap hit and knocks you to your doom. In Zelda's case it's those flying dragon heads. And since you only get three lives then have to star... |

Indie films and most superheroe films. Oh, that reminds me of another one. Juno! Freaking Juno! And it makes me sad because I actually like most of the people who were in that! I like Michael Cera, JK Simmons, Alison Janney, Ellen Page, Jason Bateman, I even like Jason Reitman's other films! But th... |

Pretty simple. You talk about overrated or outright BAD movies you hate but all your friends somehow seem to like. I'll start. BOONDOCK SAINTS - It's loud, it's INCREDIBLY dumb, and at certain points it blatantly rips off "The Professional", a much better movie. If I could only tell you how many fri... |

I think the consensus summed up my opinion: great for some stuff, but feels tacked on for others. I think the same can be said for the Playstation 3, though :x I've only played non-Rock Band games on it a few times, but the times I did, the sixaxis (is that what it's called?) was terrible. A bunch ... |

Nintendo Will last a LONG time. The games for DS are cheaper and yes good because Nintendo knows that graphics arnt what makes a good game its how playable it is and all. I was going to say something to this effect, which is why I don't hold out much faith for Sony or Microsoft in the future. Sony ... |

I think the consensus summed up my opinion: great for some stuff, but feels tacked on for others. Games like Trauma Center (my favorite Wii game so far), Madworld, and No More Heroes make really good use of the Wii controls. Hell even Metroid Prime 3 used them really well. The Wii controls are PERFE... |

Let's cut through the crap, I know we got some serious MST3K fans here. What do you think are the best episodes, or just some of your personal favorites? "Manos: Hands of Fate" Arguably the best episode of the show, easily the best of the Joel Hodgson run. The one movie that made Dr. Forrester and T... |
