My partner and I have heard that for most of our lives. A sentence that begins with "When you have children..." I used to try to correct people, now I don't even bother. It's a mindset some people get set in. I want to have children. Having children is normal. You should want to have child... |

I struggle so much with food that I cannot begin to explain why or how. I can say I spend so much money on food, but never have anything in my home to eat. I spend too much in turn getting takeout. Cooking wears me out like nothing else, and cleaning up after. Even if I break up the chores into seg... |

Thank goodness blood recipients cannot be charged for the cost of the blood here in Australia. It costs around A$300 to procure, process 470ml of whole blood into it's various parts and deliver to the required hospital. Any donor tissues including blood must by law be provided to the patient free of... |

I was 13 when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. I guess I was pretty wise at such a young age. But seriously, why does the human body have to have so many parts that cause us little more than pain and suffering and they end up having to be surgically removed? Apparently we did need them when we were... |

Houses are all about s**t breaking and either you fixing it or calling around for quotes etc. People underestimate taxes, utilities, outside upkeep and little piddle things. On a good calm day, Jay is totally reasonable about discussing house stuff. When our basement filled with raw sewage, he deco... |

I think people expect you to fit into their definition of what's "normal" at your age. I'm a few years older than you Techstep and come across people that want to size me up on the basis of "married? children? what do you do for work?" so they can slot me into some sort of rankin... |

How can you be legally required to go through a government body to get a job? Are any businesses around you hiring? Menial jobs? Dirty jobs? Odd hours? Don't rely on the government to do jack for you. You and I both know they won't do squat. This is something you have to take into your own hands to ... |

Was the seal on the bottle when you bought it?
Don't buy any medical products that don't have intact tamper evident seals. The Tylenol incident in the US in the 80s was the main driver in all products being tamper evident. |

"Saving" makes me think of putting funds into the bank where a "high interest" account pays on average 1% interest, at a time when inflation is around 2.5%. In other words you're still going backwards and to add insult to injury the govt taxes you on the 1% you earn. "Invest... |

And I see a lot of women not interested in advancing their careers than men who aren’t. I had a QA software tester (more of a beta tes... |

Needless to say having access to transmit and work on 10 metres was absolutely wonderful for this little black duck. Still have a so... |

The 'stepping on' people did eventually become an issue (along with a reasonably strong solar cycle (Cycle 21) which 'opened up' 27MHz to ionospheric propagation for several years [you're talking to your friend across town, then suddenly somebody in Texas comes in like they're across the street and... |

I feel really bad for the folks in SE Qld and northern NSW, there's some really sad scenes on the news with people being rescued from their house roofs. It's hammering down in the harbour city as I write this and tomorrow is expected to be much worse with strong winds. |

You can't tell if you're anaemic unless you have it tested by iron studies. Speak with your doctor. |
