Hi, I'm fairly new to Asperger's and this forum but I thought I'd post my experience. My dd is only six but has never slept through the night, She wakes several times in the night. Now that she's old enough to verbalize she tells me she has very scary dreams. Her dreams are extremely vivid-almost RE...

Thanks for your reply. I do try to figure out the source of the stress but sometimes I just cannot figure it out. My dd is still too young to be able to verbalize what it is and I don't know if she really has the understanding to know herself. She doesn't have the self awareness to identify them for...

My brother is very angry and can be abusive to others and I dearly want to help my dd so that she do...

DW, Your response is what I feared. Usually, when my daughter has acted out with her behavior is is because she is asking for help in the only way she knows how. However, my options are limited because I am a single mother and I already am only able to work part time due to my daughter's struggles. ...

I had to post because my daughter is the same as the op's child. My daughter is EXTREMELY attached and it is very painful for her to separate from me at all. School is painful, every morning they pry her fingers from around my neck or legs while she tantrums. I have tried many different techniques o...
