To answer your question, Hyperbolic: Because their press releases paint an unrelentingly bleak picture of the lives of autistics - we have no empathy, can never learn coping skills, will forever be overgrown children, etc. Because they will not permit autistics to speak for ourselves. If we can spe... |

Well, I started Paxil last night. I researched Zoloft some. It seems that Paxil is more potent and sedating, which may have been best for me based on the symptoms I described to my doctor (physical pain and social anxiety). Today, I feel a little jittery, drowsy. However, I already feel less anxious... |

I was told there is no such thing as a happy pill. They were wrong Paxil is a happy pill. Miserably happy. Happiness is not so much main concern. I feel relatively happy right now. I have skimmed some studies on several SSRIs, from back when the government was deciding whether to approve them for u... |

Self-diagnosis. I´m a doctor. When I was a medical student, my classmates gave me the same diagnosis on my last day in the university. l33t I don´t get it. What do you mean? Initially, the word leet was used as an adjective, to primarily describe the behavior or accomplishments of others in the com... |

According to various studies on the Internet I have just skimmed, Paxil causes some cognitive impairment. Also, a main side effect is weight gain. Now, I think I would rather start out with Zoloft, which does not have these side effects to the same etent. I'm in college and doing well and don't want... |

I was interested in Zoloft, but my doctor recommend Paxil instead. He said Zoloft can cause you to be jittery. A side effect of Paxil he mentioned is that it can make you drowsy.
What are your experiences with Paxil? What have you heard about others' experiences with it? |

Autism Speaks was started by the wife of an executive at General Electric whose grandson has autism. I read this in PARADE magazine. It sounds like the organization was founded out of concern, rather than fear. I am not exactly up to speed on why Autism Speaks is an considered by some in the autisti... |

I was just fired from my job at a retail store. The reason given by my manager for why I got fired were very vague at first: "things just aren't working out." I called my dad and he told me that I should go back and ask her for give more specific reasons. The more specific reasons she gave were that... |

It's probably about 50% presentation. And you've got to have good timing in your jokes, or it will sound like the robot Andrew in that back porch scene in the movie Bicentennial Man. |

Did you know Lou Dobbs founded Space.com? He has also been interested in the search for extra-terrestrial life. (I found this out from Wikipedia.) Space and ET life could have just been a fad interest for him. And to host a talk show as he does (albeit with his trademark ranting and slightly unusual... |

There a lot of tiny churches across the United States where you could pastor. A M.Div. would be a major plus for some churches.
Add some new programs and turn your church into a mega church, and maybe we'll all be watching you on TV and sending you donations some day. |

You'll need a high school diploma or GED for a lot of jobs, and you'll need one for all four-year degrees and most two-year degrees. So, it would be stupid not to get either a high school diploma or a GED. Keep in mind that 70% is no big deal for most average students--that's why a C is considered a... |
