Those are beautiful stories of a mother's love. I remember finding my birth footprint when I cleaned out my mother's home and a plastic toy skunk, that I loved when I was little when I cleaned out my father's stuff. Take it one day at a time, you can do it. We are stronger than we know. My aunt like...

Hello Onskarf, Those are good questions and your responses show a strong understanding of NT social/emotional norms. Are you concerned about aging as an Aspie? Am I better at reading people? Yes, that is because I have worked on it. Making progress has always left me scared and confused. But, I keep...

I would need this. Though, if only there's an informal Tagalog version of that. Mine is less about empathy and more about command of language itself. If I have more mastery over language, I'd able to "empathize" just as having faster sensory processing speed would make me more "artic...

ChatGPT has no sense of humor tell a funny story about dropping an egg One time, I was making breakfast and decided to make a fried egg. I cracked the egg into the pan and it started to sizzle. I was so excited to eat my delicious fried egg that I forgot to put a plate next to the stove. As I was fl...

I don't think I'd like it if it wrote my replies for me. I'd feel better about something that just told me what the author might be feeling, with a breakdown of what they'd written that had indicated those feelings. That way I might be able to compare the computer's ideas with my own, and learn to ...

I started using ChatGPT to react to the emails that I plan to send. The command starts with how would <person> react to this letter and then the letter follows. I need to figure out better language for the command. Reading the letter from another person's perspective is difficult for me and I often ...

There have been numerous times when I had to take on way too much. I become dead inside and deal with the situations as best I can. The problem is those memories haunt me, trigger me, and fill me with grief. I have seen NT's go off the rails, become violent, unbalanced, ... The jails, the streets, a...

I started getting panic attacks after I recovered from COVID/BA1. It is like an anxiety attack on steroids and it really messes up my head. The attacks are less frequent now, more like severe anxiety. But, I get triggered easily and have tried very hard to keep the toxic people far away.

I kind of see a flaw with the study. Looking intently at an image, still or video, is very different than reading a person in a social setting. There is sensory overload, anxiety, and fear that must be dealt with. Not to mention making conversation and figuring out what the person is saying. To me, ...

The other day, I found a Save America ad on a website that was reviewing sex toys. In the middle of all these strange pleasure devices was a picture of you know who. Just for context, I was using a VPN and Incognito mode. I do not know if I should laugh or cry. Is this stupidity or very cynical prod...

True story, theory of mind in practice. On my afternoon walk, I took a final lap around my local park. A young lady stepped out o the shade and asked "Do you love animals?" I stopped and asked her to explain. She was from some animal society and I asked for the pamphlet. She had none but w...
