I am sorry about your health. Admittedly it is much easier to take up new sports in 20s rather than 30s or 40s but the basic principe I was trying to convey is that women often go out in groups, sometimes trying something new alone makes it easier to meet new people. That something new could be anyt...

... but finding out at 8, with her being such a determining part of the assessment process, I feel this is her information. She has full ownership of this. Same with my son. He has ownership. I have never discussed it with anyone without his permission. He was seven when we did the testing and was ...

One more idea, climbing. You do an introductory course and then after that you need to go with someone so they can b-lay you and you them. Usually they have lists of people wanting to meet others to climb with at climbing centres, or there might be someone on the course who you can start going with....

No. Not false. You got yourself in a real tizzy. You don’t have a good perspective on yourself, I find. Perhaps you’re too much of a perfectionist. You’re a man of many talents. I ain’t kidding. You’re a linguist and an artist. Sorry for being a pain in the butt. But I feel what I feel strongly. To...

I travelled across China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia when I was 18. I never spent more than 10 dollars a day and was able to save from my student grant to afford it. how guess : through methods that were feasible in the past but not so much anymore because of...reasons. probably too stupid for...

Art therapy seems quite a cool job if you work better one on one. Saying that, I think you would be awesome at teaching kids art. Yes, I know I don't know you but I still think you would be awesome. besides, you could try it out and see how you go. My teeenage niece teaches kids art classes a...

Be someone who takes care of yourself and who is self sufficient and who can be the master of your own happiness and fulfilment. Then it will be clear what you really want from a partner. Then you will also be more attractive to a partner because they will know you are choosing them specifically fo...

Also, if you are fed up at the moment - do they offer gap years? Take a year off and go roam the world or do some voluntary program overseas or something? There is always the JET program too!

Don't drop out. As kortie says everyone has these patches. You are near the end, hang in there. If you feel like you what to be more productive and work why not look to complement your studies with something more practical on the side. If you are studying art either see if there are any teaching mod...

High Llama gives good advice above. I am sorry things didn't work out with this guy. However, it is very possible that the reasons this guy didn't want a relationship were all about him and not about you. You are not sub-standard. From the basis of 'here' you are great. I always though of it as a ba...

Aren't all kids burdens? I have two sons, one ASD (10) and one NT (9). They're both really great kids and I love them both. My NT son is smart, fun, kind, but... If I'm being honest, he's also a little too boringly conventional in his thinking. (For me, that is.) ASD son is also smart, fun, kind, a...

I do see your point Jason. Here is what I mean. My daughter can often achieve more than her peers in certain areas. Her achievements really are not "normal" in many ways in a group setting. But she does need more input from me, in ways, compared to other people. That input is often in the ...
