I do stuff wrong more often than right. I panic easily. I've been one-upped by almost everyone I've ever met. I seem to always learn the life lessons I need after it's too late to do any good. I must be human or something. 8O I agree, this is a great thread, Ana54. Sometimes it's good to just vent. |

KateShroud: I've found that people who don't have the experience to read me properly will misread my emotions. I wonder if you ran into some people who haven't learned a broader viewpoint yet. People who say we're cold or lack empathy are looking for specific non-verbals to go with our words. More e... |

I used to be afraid of thunderstorms because the thunder was so loud. That ended one night when I decided to watch one from our front porch. The storms usually moved from west to east and the porch was on the northeast corner of the house. It had screens to keep the bugs out. It also had a glass-pan... |

Supplanter. I have no idea how to interpret that. Ok, that piqued my curiosity. (What were your parents thinking?) You know I shall consult Google. Supplanter.....I don't know either. Dad decided the name hadn't been used in the family for a while, so he went with it. My middle name means something... |

MisPickwickian, I'm glad you weren't there when that happened. I'm sorry for the loss of your friends. I hope that murderer gets what he deserves for this. |

News items are in an implicit competition. The more sensational items get the coverage. The only reason autism is even in the news at all is because some celeb is yelling about it. Otherwise it wouldn't even rate a mention to the ratings counters. It's what happened when news departments became reve... |

Obedience and submission makes this sound too much like something affiliated with BDSM. Why not judge us upon our efficacy at serving our cause? After all, what is better a loyal fool, or a smart and effective person who knows the gain of serving such a cause? You know, most companies I've worked f... |

In both HFA and AS the person's IQ is average or above, so a person can have HFA and be a genius. People with AS are not more intelligent than people with HFA. Actually, Tony Attwood is challenging the idea that AS and HFA are different. Some of us have OCD and quite a few of us who don't are mistak... |
