I'm self-absorbed and kind of self-centered but I'm super polite and accomodating/pushover due to my social anxiety. This, mostly. I don't have anyone else in my life to concern myself with outside of my intermediate family, so I almost feel as if I don't have a choice but to be self-centered....

I really loathe this hostility. I find it SO annoying and stupid when people have the arseache with eachother and ''are not speaking''. When I have a meltdown, it unsettles everybody else in the house, and then my mother suddenly stops speaking to me, and I HATE that. I am over the meltdown, I unde...

I've been in situations to where I've froze up when girls would touch me, because I wouldn't know what to do afterwards. I'd think to myself, Do I go over, and grasp her arms while I kiss her? Do I just touch her back? Do I say something sexual afterwards? My mind would have continuous thoughts runn...

my thought, its not that we have high standards. Its that we are never in places were one can get casual sex. We arent social enough to be in those places and if we by a miracle ended in one we wouldnt know what to do. ive been there and done that enough to know that something has to be wrong with ...

I have uploaded a few of my drawings onto Deviant Art. I see alot of musicians and writers too. I sketch the majority of the time, but I have done sculpting in classes when I needed to. I'm not on that phase right now with my 'special interests', so I won't have anything new for quite sometime, but ...

Not much of an NBA fan, but as a big hockey fan, I can say that the NHL Lockout in 2004-2005 was pretty awful. Resulted in the cancellation of the entire season. For the sake of basketball fans everywhere, I certainly hope there is a better outcome than what hockey fans had to endure seven years ag...

This is sort of confusing. I had language delays (among other issues) to the point that I was closer linked to Classic Autism as a toddler, thus the PDD-NOS diagnosis. However, when I did start to catch up with my language issues, I was way ahead of my peers with my language skills (I was spelling l...

General: Dogs More Specific: Terriers Even More Specific: Airedale Terriers Technically, my first pet was an Airedale Terrier named Russell. He was mischievous (took my brothers pizza off the kitchen counter once), hyperactive, but for the most part loyal (except for a few nights he snuck out of the...

I dont worry much what people think of me, but maybe its because I've given up / grown less insecure over years. But I do feel that my social anxiety issues are deeply rooted in an inability to know what is the socially acceptable or right thing to do in certain situations. I've always felt that I ...

I am 23 years old and feel like I am about 12 years old. But, I'm pretty sure that my heart has beat as many times as the heart of an average 35-year-old due to all of the anxiety and stress. So, I have actually always assumed that I will die sooner than NT's my age. I'm 20 and I can't help but fee...

So how does one develope social skills if they aren't automatic? Most social skills aren't automatic. Most of it is trial and error, and it's a constant process. The rules of socialization for someone in elementary school, someone in junior high, someone in high school, someone in university, and a...

Don't feel too bad. My father sucked at being a dad too. Lived in the same town, and only talked to him 3 to 4 times. When I graduated from High School, he was locked up in prison. And he had the audacity to show up uninvited to my grandmother's party, trying make it seem ask if he was doing me a fa...

I've been in this predicament before, too. I thought about how I would do it, but hanging myself and cutting my wrist just didn't feel right to me. I couldn't get a gun, so I day I decided to go outside during the winter months and attempt to freeze myself to death. Approximately 75-80 minutes later...
