I thought it was kind of funny that I told my NT spouse some of the jokes on the thread and he sis not understand why they were funny to me. He asked me to explain why a certain joke was funny and I tried but he just said that I lack the communication skills to explain why it's funny. I think that i...

You may want to look at your diet. I know that sometimes that sort of emotional imbalance can be helped with diet. I suggest you look in to eating according to your blood type. That might really make a big difference for you.

I did jury duty once. I don't like being on jury duty and hope to avoid it. It was a kind of a stupid case though so it wasn't a big deal. But I don't think I could handle a murder or something like that. I think that would be too much for me.

It's not stupid, that's the first thing. The second thing is you really love it and you are great at it. It's a passion of yours and an absolutely excellent one. I think you should obey your mom for now and once you are of age and able to move into your own place and have all the dogs you want then ...

I have found that maintaining friendships can take work. But I think that sometimes one of the reasons I have trouble is that I try too hard. That would get exhausting and emotionally weird and it just makes it not work. Sometimes if I just try to sit back and not try so hard at the friendship it h...

I know that there is a Native American people in the North American Southwest, I just can't remember which one, maybe someone else knows, but they do not even consider you and adult until after 50. They believe that you are not responsible enough until at least 51.

I can sit or lay down and think for hours. Sometimes I get upset when I have to do something because I feel like I wasnt done thinking. Sometimes I will do it in the middle of a conversation with someone and realize I was so lost and deep in my thoughts that I hadnt heard anything they said and rea...

I have had attachment issues, but usually chalk them up to routine or social deficiencies on my part. I've always been that way. Are you attached to people or do you feel it is difficult to get attached to people? Both, actually. I'm uncomfortable and overwhelmed in most social situations, ...

I like natural smells clean natural smells like essential oils and flowers. I love the smell of coffee beans. I can't stand perfumes and stuff like that that are made with artificial scents. I have had people come over to the house and my sense of smell is sensitive and I have gotten sick for days b...

Willard, I just reread your post. I think you may be right about the cues because sometimes people will tell me something later and I am really surprised by what they tell me. I did not pick up on it as it was happening. I guess even with well learned skills, like you said I don't always pick up on ...

Willard, your post is very helpful to me, thank you. It is very interesting because now that I think about it I know that some people have always considered me odd. When I was a kid I had some friends and some very close ones but they tended to be the kids that were not so popular. I was never one t...

I have issues with food textures. I don't know if they are also combined with colors. I am not sure why certain things affect me and others don't. For example, I love oatmeal and can eat it anytime. However, I cannot even stand the thought of cream of wheat. I also like my oatmeal to be lumpy. I can...
