Im trying to stay away from the carbs to kill my candida. The candida gives you urges to eat sugar and carbs though! So very true. It's just gotta be a mind over matter thing.. you've got to decide that your health is worth much more than your cravings. If I find myself craving something a little, ...

As I've been transparent about, I don't have an official diagnosis. I don't require one for anything in my life & don't really want one for the potential stigma (even if only self imposed) You would impose stigma on yourself if you got an official diagnosis...but not for a self-diagnosis? :?: P...

"Everything New" by Peter Fox - it's in German, which I don't speak nor understand. I just really liked the music when I heard it.. then looked up the lyrics & like it WAY more. Seems to be a GREAT New Year's song, IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DD0A2plMSVA Here are the lyrics in...

I voted yes. I was surprised to see 72% yes. As I've been transparent about, I don't have an official diagnosis. I don't require one for anything in my life & don't really want one for the potential stigma (even if only self imposed) nor any potential issues it could create in my life and future...

Forum: LGBT Discussion   Topic: Would You Date a "Straight" Person?

That question makes no sense here. Literally, it makes no sense, because this forum is for LGBT individuals. A gay person, obviously, may be interested in dating someone who is straight, but because that person is straight, they would not reciprocate the feelings. A bisexual person could well fall ...

And another thing that I think helps me communicate with other ASD people isn't just the intuitive nature of being ASD, but also because I've read and learned a LOT about ASD.. so, even though I may be a fair bit higher functioning than the other person I'm chatting with, I find myself very aware &a...

The other thing I've noticed about communicating with some other aspies IRL is that if we're both in highly asd mode & have a mutual interest and can rapid fire back and forth w/ intellectual conversation almost as if we're finishing each others thoughts… the NT's in the room look on in aw like ...

All of the above. If I'm talking with another aspie I disagree with, conversation can get heated & frustrating - especially for them since I rarely get heated or frustrated anymore. If I'm talking with another aspie with a completely different interest that I'm not interested in at all.. it's li...

Not a surfer exactly.. but I'm a kiteboarder. I'm still learning, but can cover all the basics & get back up wind. I spent 12 days out kiteboarding in Squamish this past Summer and it was magical.. kiting around w/ mountain views and seals popping up for air around me. 8)

Names Greg, I'm on the spectrum like many of you. Im almost 23 years ago and I've had enough of being trapped in a depersonalized Autistic prison. After months of research im almost positive that autism, adhd, schizophrenia, and other psychotic illnesses are caused by heavy metal poisoning. These m...

I can fake things to an extent when I want to.

I'm sure others on the spectrum can fake things quite well, especially those that are actors.

Thank you. I read a lot about leaky gut and vitamin deficiencies. I'm surprised the community isnt big on curing autism. Autism isn't a gift..were not smarter than NTs, we didn't kill our egos, were not aliens from another planet, etc. Its a disorder..

I'm with you on all of this. PM'd.
