I just learned the other night about James Dobson's co-founder of Focus on the Family, who was caught taking a trip to Europe with a male prostitute. Now, this gentleman, like Dobson and everyone else in their organization, is fanatically anti-gay, and believe homosexuality can be "cured." He claime... |

I've known about how the shroud was debunked a few years ago, including that the head was too small to be real. I did not know about how the arms had been been made too long in order to cover the genitalia. So, as I see it, there are two choices: either the shroud was a fake, or our Lord and Savior ... |

I've heard this sort of thing before. I personally believe there is no real correlation between age and autism. Rather, people with Asperger's, like myself, only learn to socialize later in adulthood. And so marry and have children later than most people. I equate my daughter's PDD-NOS with the same... |

Every time I hear about the Tea Party, people talk about it like there is supposed to be a stigma attached to it. I am not in that movement, but I am curious as to what issues they are addressing that turn many people off from it. The only stigma I am aware of is the bigotry of the left-wing media ... |

The stigma is, the tea baggers tend to be red necks who can't stand that we now have a black president. That sort of racial prejudice doesn't exactly go over well these days. That, and the fact that they oppose health care reform, and the government's cracking down on the insurance industry shows th... |

You may be an Aspie if you are watching The Big Bang theory, and you can't understand why Penny isn't attracted to Sheldon. Was just glancing through this thread for a bit, saw this one, and it just made me smile. I don't understand how the writers for that show don't see how much potential there i... |

I got my license rather late, at age 21, because I was just too scared poopless about driving. Ever since then, I can't live without driving. My wife doesn't drive much, because she finds it too stressful, so I'm usually the one behind the wheel. But that's okay, because driving is one of the few th... |

I had taken a required Shakespeare class in college, lo many years ago. At first, I could barely make heads or tales out of his stuff, because the language was just so archaic. But you know, as time progressed, comprehension came much more easily for me. I went away loving the bard, appreciating him... |

anyone else here watch that show ? although I do believe the small possibility of ancient aliens, I watch it because it makes me laugh. They keep spewing theories with no proof or data to back it up. some of it is just ridiculous, like one theory they had was that, the Jews were kept alive by a lit... |

The more I learn about Asperger's syndrome, the more I'm convinced Lovecraft had it. Regarding Lovecraft's racism - yes, he had his prejudices - but so did our grandparents and great grandparents who also lived in that era. The fact is though, he was willing to learn and grow. He married a Jewish la... |

Well, my wife and I caught the new A Nightmare On Elm Street just last Saturday, which was my birthday. And in my humble opinion, it was not that great. The very best thing in the movie was of course Freddy Krueger, played this time by the same actor who played Rorschach in The Watchmen. But otherwi... |

Guilty as charged! I can talk endlessly about ancient history, till everyone else is blue in the face! Back when i was a lot younger, and my friends were much less understanding than they are now, they were constantly telling me, "Shut up Bill, take a chill pill Bill." I suppose I have learned to "r... |

How did I feel after? - I certainly wished it could have been better. Did I tell anyone, or keep it secret? - I bragged to my friends I was no longer a virgin. Elabora... |

I've seen many exceptionally gorgeous women of different races I'd like to bang, were it not that I'm married. My wife, who is bisexual, shares her fantasies with me often involving women of other races. |

I am in absolute agreement. I live for The Venture Bros., though The Boondocks and Family Guy come in at a close second and third.
