I remember when the newsbreak came on TV. I immediately called my mother to tell her. We felt really bad for the people in the towers. It was overwhelming, and still is when I think about those poor people caught in the tower. We were afraid of what the US was going to do in retaliation, we assumed ...

Looney Tunes and Scoobydoo are the best cartoons.

Blue's Clues is the worst. Even worse than Barney.

Call her on her behavior. Tell her you find it morally repugnant and abusive. Tell her what you really think. If nothing else, even in her misguided worldview, she'll be forced to respect you for being a decent person.

Hmmm. This is a game. Sometimes girls act like this when they are testing you to see how you hold up during their outrageous behaviors or comments. She's trying to push your buttons, to see how you respond. She's testing your boundaries to see what kind of guy you are. If you become morally outraged...

I believe the medical reports and testimonials that weed is medically beneficial for many illnesses. I also believe for most people it is probably less inherently harmful recreationally than a glass of beer or wine. Weed causes SOME people to feel paranoid and uncomfortable. I also believe that for...

I do think the effexor has improved my ability to focus. That's because I no longer feel as negative or heavy hearted as I felt before. I no longer think repeated negative thoughts which is a type of anxiety. I feel hope and enthusiasm.

Thanks Machine1, I'm much better now. I went out, bought myself some new clothes, had my hair done, got contact lenses, when out to a club with some friends, and had a great time. I've even had someone ask me out for a date. I always thought before that it was lame ass to take medication for ocd or ...

I had a similar experience when I took a philosophy of art course in uni. I sat there completely mystified as to what we were supposed to be talking about and all the references that people were making. It didn't seem to be about art at all. I had never had such a confusing experience in any course ...

I had a similar experience. I first tried calling the autism societies. They gave me a few phone numbers that led nowhere. It was very bizarre, but I felt the autism society actually impeded by ability to try to find a doctor. I was told that that is because the societies (at least the ones in Canad...

So far...for me...the Exxefor is working quite well. I now think that I should have been on some form of medication years ago. I've lived with chronic low grade depression all my life, and the obsessive compulsive thoughts were exhausting. Yes, there are pros and cons. One reason that I resisted was...

The other day an elderly man pushing a shopping cart on the street came up to me. He had a poster of a lost dog, a mutt. He pointed to my dog, which is a Blue Heeler and said, "Is that your dog?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Well you know, they lost a dog, they got posters up everywhere, that might be t...

Today I went to the shelter to see the cats and kittens. I asked about doing petfinder.com ads for the cats, and again they said the person I had to talk to wasn't in, even though it was the hours they told me he'd be in. I have been going there two or three times weekly, for three hours or so at a...
