I don't think any serious student of history can dismiss Jesus' existence, or that he led a religious movement that outlived him. The question of if he is the Christ is a matter of faith.

Years ago, after I had learned that my Dad was terminally ill, I can honestly say it was one of the worst times of my life. I would often break into tears at the sense of his impending loss. With my Mom, who had had several close calls due to poor health, I had experienced several scares, followed b...

I had a miserable time back in school - and back then, no one in the country even knew what Asperger's was! As for eye contact; my wife has pointed out that plenty of times, I look past the person I'm talking to. Sometimes I'm aware of this; but more often, I'm more aware of how I tend to over compe...

I recently had seen the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street which, was not too but, it did not have the creepy atmosphere of the original nor the dark humor one could say.Still, not a bad attempt though.. I've seen it, too, and in my humble opinion, it can't hold a candle to the Robert Englund origin...

You're right. We Europeans have really a lot of problems with your relaxed view on violance. This means that a lot of US productions (not only movies or television series, but also computer games) must be edited for the European market to be sold. The American view is definitely odd. People absolut...

My wife and I just rented Grimm Love , which is based on the real life case of a German cannibal who found a man on the internet who wanted to have his penis bitten off and eaten. It's a very disturbing movie, but the two lead characters, while obviously deranged, come across as sympathetic in a bro...

I can't stand how the ghost of Nazism has to be brought up in regard to modern German society. The current German social net is not connected to the Nazis, at all. :x

My best ideas always hit me at night, or when I'm drunk. I designed an algorithm to check the frequency of objects in a data set after 7 shots and a few pints. I also wrote a theorem describing how a point particle irradiates a sphere as a function of it's distance after a nagan. Strange  The ...

As far as blasphemous goes, there's plenty that are obvious...what you do all think of The Man From Earth as a blasphemous film? If you haven't seen it, it's on Netflix. It's basically philosophy made into a movie that features a small group of friends at a going-away part for a dude who tells them...

Was it Moses who came up with laws like, if a menstruating woman touches a pot, it must be destroyed?
I think that question sums up my opinion of Moses.
