I don't have any good advice, but this was basically me at that age. Part of the problem was that I hated school, but demand avoidance was also a factor.

Most cultures around the world don't have the expectation that young adults must move out of home. Even the places that do have that norm have generally only developed it very recently - a hundred years ago it wasn't a thing. If you're happy living with your parents and your parents are happy living...

I didn't learn what a period was until I had my first one...probably because my puberty onset was very precocious and it wasn't expected as soon as it was. I was almost 10 at the time and I started bleeding in class at school. I thought I was ill at the time and got really scared, so my teachers ha...

I know there are other cultures that aren't as hair-aphobic. Body hair might even help to protect the skin from infections and junk. Too bad I was born in a culture where everything is done the wrong way. I don't know about body hair in general, but pubic hair definitely does. Shaving in the pubic ...

I recommend the book More Than Two by Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert. And not just to people who are involved or interested in polyamorous relationships - a lot of their advice would help monogamous relationships, too.

This is posted to provide information, not because I agree with it. Blanchard identified four types of autogynephilic sexual fantasy,[26] but stated that co-occurrence of types was common.[24]: 72–73 [4]: 19–20  Transvestic autogynephilia: arousal to the act or fantasy of wearing typically feminine ...

People fearing a majority is not discrimination because it holds no power. While a woman fearing men in general is misandry, her fear of men holds no power against them so this is socially acceptable which is why no one bats an eye about it and while people just shrug it off. Just because a group h...

I was also bemused by a company that referred to "pregnant people" in its literature. What seems wrong with it is that it tries too hard not to offend anybody. How is including trans people who've gotten pregnant "trying too hard"? Not everyone with a fertile uterus considers th...

His school is talking about not having him attend because it is not acceptable. Wow, what an overreaction! Sounds like a pretty sh***y school to be making such a big deal of a behavior like this in someone with such significant disabilities. Don't they have bigger priorities, like, I don't know, fi...

Plenty of well-loved, famous people who've committed or tried to commit suicide - Kurt Cobain, Robin Williams, Terry Pratchett, etc.

Popularity doesn't magically make your problems go away. It just means more people paying attention to your problems.

The cutoffs are going to be inherently arbitrary. At 13, my dad could go into a liquor store and not get carded, so an adult or much older teen being attracted to him wouldn't have been abnormal at all because he was basically indistinguishable from an adult visually (tall guy with a full beard and ...
