I'm extremely skeptical of actual psychic abilities. However, when I was younger, people would constantly tell me they could "see things coming" when I wasn't paying attention, because I was focused on something else. "Your ice cream is about to drip!" "You're about to put y...

Here are a couple pictures I recently finished. This one is from my superhero universe. Identity the bloodhound superheroine visits her friend and civilian ally, Prof. Jackson Press, (a rabbit.) I don't know what he's reading to her out of that unicorn book, but apparently it's very interesting. In ...

...fastening onto some detail that feels at the time as if it's nowhere near good enough and I have to make it as great as humanly possible. I'm sure half those details don't matter to anybody else, and probably won't matter to me when I look back on it later, but I can never tell which half to ign...

I'm kind of funny about these things. I'm more likely to panic about minor things than major global events. I remember back in 2011, someone left pamphlets around the store where I work that said, "For more information about the end of the world, please dial [800 number.]" I have a f...

I've talked about some of this on here before, but it was a long time ago, so hopefully nobody minds. Artwork is my special interest. I enjoy the creative side of it. The technical side has always been extremely difficult for me. I work mainly on digital media because it's more editable. I spend hou...

... So after an intense day, it is very natural for an introvert to seek some form of peace and quiet. For some it is reading a book, or playing video games. In your case it is drawing. It is your way of recharging your batteries. Work is my main source of socialization and physical activity outsid...

Thanks :). I hadn't heard that term before. Looking it up, some of it does sound like what I experience, especially the time management. Time often seems to move very fast to me.

The majority of my life seems to be devoted to my retail job. This June will make my 10th anniversary of working for this company. Prior to that, I spent years unemployed. (For reasons I still don't know, local prospective employers acted as if they were repulsed by me.) I've had worse jobs -- some ...

^ Thanks for the response :). My schedule changes every week, but in some cases, I may have one day off and then work 5 or 6 days in a row. I'm only able to get a significant amount of artwork done on my days off. I don't know how to reverse the energy of my anxiety. I have tried to use my experienc...

I'm undiagnosed, so I'm not sure if I count towards the overall view of how Autistic people view politics. My personal view is that democracy seems better than the alternatives, and as long as we have democracy, we'll have some form of politics. However, I have no interest in being involved. I've be...

^ Thanks for the tips. I joined the Concept Art forum, and I'll probably post something on there soon. I have a fairly thick skin, but as a critic myself, I'm often critical of how art is criticized online. Most of my experience is in the furry art community, and I've found that critiques frequently...

Here's my review of something I've been waiting for a long time: a new adaptation of my favorite novel, “Watership Down.” Warning: I have a lot of opinions on this! Also, note that my opinion of the original film radically improved over the years, and that might be the case for this as well. Richard...

I've thought about going back to school for either animation or English. I have an associate's degree in English. I'm discouraged by a few things. If I have to work and go to school at the same time, I'm afraid I'll have no time for my personal art. Also, I know a few people who did get higher degre...
