I feel like more of an outside observer watching a live movie play out in front of me, and it can be rather entertaining and beautiful to take in the world through the point of view of live cinematography. Same sense of being an outsider, but completely different perspective = much more enjoyable v...

Know what else is high in sals? Most alcohols. (rye, gin & vodka have zero, dry white wines are the next lowest.) That would explain why drinking makes you feel suicidal vs. the effects of alcohol itself doing it, especially if you tended to drink sweeter red wines or fruit liqueurs. I will wat...

I'm not sure if this counts as a 'diary' but I make notes on the computer about my feelings. It's mostly been since I started counselling so I can organise my thoughts. That's the only time I bothered, too. I wrote page after page of CBT stuff last Summer. Once I didn't have a need for it anymore, ...

Am I reading your last post correctly? You are not seriously suggesting removing fruits and vegetables from my diet to eat a predominantly meat/protein based only diet? Not sure.. still reading in English from left to right? Pretty sure you've got it nailed down. :P Not all fruits/veggies, but most...

You know that they'd judge you or assume that they would? There's a difference - my example at the end of my post here. So don't tell your parents at this point, or ever if it doesn't suit you. It's not really any of their business who you're attracted to or who you sleep with. Why would your parent...

I read your entire post & will address it bit by bit. I appreciate the same courtesy in return, thank you in advance, Bumble. Actually goldfish your kind of approach just upsets me as I have been constantly accused of doing nothing when I have done everything there is to try. Those kinds of acc...

I sometimes feel like I am standing on the outside of a society gone insane. You are. I understand completely Tequila, but my entire life has been this way. So I don't really feel any pain from it anymore. I'm consciously aware that no matter who I am with or where I am, I am alone. Even if I feel ...

Does not compute. I LOVE the beach. Although, I did intentionally avoid going to beaches for many years - but not because I didn't like the beach itself. Long story, doesn't matter right now lol. I can relate to not liking stepping on sharp rocks.. but that's what crocks/sandles/aquasocks or wetsuit...

Some of your unfortunate experiences remind me very eerily of a few of my female AS cousins who've had to endure similar hardships in their lives. It hits a little close to home. It definitely sucks to hear you've had to go through those things. I was thinking about taking a self defense class. ----...

I had a lifetime history of evidence to prove my claims. There you go. You have something more substantial than a suspicion based on something you just learned about online. I'm not saying online revaluations aren't legitimate. But I do think if that's all someone has, it might be better to have th...

Excellent. I highly recommend you pick it up and read the entire thing. It's not a long or difficult read, but is very valuable.

True, but a little harsh in your delivery. Bumble, why do you feel you have to completely accommodate other people around you? What are you afraid will happen if you don't eat their food, or if you tactfully disagree with their advice? Are they railroading you, or are you afraid to speak up? Intent...

Better, because you're only 16 & are already well aware of your diagnosis and can work on improving yourself every single day. With practicing social skills, therapy/counselling, figuring out a healthy diet, keeping up with exercise, and finding whatever other combinations of treatments work for...
