At this point I tend to expect that I am not included. That doesn't mean people are purposely excluding me, but simply make no effort one way or the other. Being treated as though I was invisible or excluded use to be very upsetting for me. It was heartbreaking to feel like no one liked me or would ... |

I'm not sure if there is a real good way to bring it up. It's a lot easier to have someone ask you questions about ASD than to just start talking about how you function. A person would think that if they would ask you about it, if they care for you in an attempt to understand better. But I suppose t... |

It doesn't bother me much; having blood drawn or shots. As a kid people were often surprised that wouldn't show any reaction to being poked. I did almost pass out while having blood drawn once, but that was because I hadn't had much to eat lol I've been told I have great veins, I guess cuz they're e... |

People tend to fear or feel threatened by what they consider out of the norm. Different responses can come from that. Making up stories, avoidance, or by challenging you. I've had some issues with this kind of thing. I've been told/thought to be I'm intimidating, a snob, lazy, manipulative, a liar e... |

He doesn't mean that there are literally no poor white people lol Bernie himself doesn't originally come out of a place of wealth and he's been more than privy to the people financially struggling to get by in VT; which is still a predominantly white state. Some of this statement was an aim to let t... |

If we're to be attracted to someone I'm even more likely to be completely freaked about approaching. |

Single currently but my last boyfriend was an Aspie and bipolar. I had certainly felt more connected to him than the NT's I'd had relationships with, despite some strong differences between us. We also had some things that were extremely alike, which was good but at times wasn't very productive for ... |

Math has always been a hated subject of mine. When I had my Aspergers assessment they told me I had a learning disability in math and I don't doubt it. If calculators didn't exist I'd be stuck up the river without paddles....and broken arms lol I'm not terrible at science just the math oriented part... |

I was certainly More stilted and overly formal primarily as a child. I'd say that is probably still pretty strong in me but I'm maybe a bit more aloof seeming as an adult. Though by the description Passive might be more accurate for cause of my behavior. I have facial expressions, I'm not indifferen... |

I think my primary requirement of a partner is the ability to thrive in each other's company without any talking. So, naturally, I would prefer things to start nonverbally. Uh, take up sign language? Mime? Eyebrow semaphore? Cberg - are you looking to come up with ways to bring up the subject of AS... |

Confusing isn't it? Technically it's both. People can try to hard too find someone though. When that occurs it's definitely better to take a step back and see what comes to you . Sometimes it's important to just live your life, and focus on you, trust. For males, usually there's nothing like "... |
