I think the main thing is not to contradict someone when they are describing themselves. If someone has found something they identify with, and someone else keeps describing them as something else, they are going to get upset. That doesn't mean they are anti the other thing or think it's inferior. ...

There are. But people who are struggling are posting more, looking for advice, support etc. Thats about it. At the time when I am happily in a relationship, I tend not to spend that much time online anyway. Being online is a defense mechanism against the fact that I don't have a life going. The oth...

There are women physicists around. I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble with women. Maybe at a symposium, you can present a paper. Maybe a woman who is going for a Masters or PhD could be impressed by whatever theory you are putting forward. This could happen I been to symposiums. And no I am no...

Are you going to college now? I am 39, and I spent almost my entire life in school. I did my BA when I was 18-21, then I did my MS when I was 21-24, then I did my first ph.d. when I was 24-29, then I did postdocs when I was 29-34, then I started second ph.d. at 35, then I transferred at 36 into whe...

You sound like you feel entitled to a woman's attention. Neither sex is entitled to the other sex "approaching them" Did I use the word "entitled"? No I didn't. Now, if women were talking to me because they are "supposed to", that wouldn't give me the validation that I...

What branch of Christianity? I was born Jewish but then I came to believe in Jesus as an adult. I still keep Jewish practices too, so I am Messianic. There are, indeed, Messianic churches that do Jewish services, on Saturday, in the name of Jesus. But they aren't the only ones. Also Seventh Day Adv...

As far as bitterness goes, at least in my case, I am bitter about the exact thing I complained about in OP. In other words, if women were to view me as a fellow human I would no longer be bitter at them. As an evidence for that, up until I was 21, I wasn't aware about this issue and, accordingly, I ...

The people diagnosed with Aspergers were expected to understand this “hidden meaning”, not a strength of people with this diagnosis. Some Aspies did understand and others did not and became ableist towards “autistics”. How so? Occasionally on this site and elsewhere you do get Aspie supremacist sen...

Asperger's used to be described as "childhood onset schiziod" No. That is autism, and not aspergers. What is now called "level three autism" or "low functioning autism" was originally described as "childhood onset schizophrenia". Aspergers was not considered ...

I am wondering if it is possible that I somehow conned the doctor with my text because I had done so much research about the condition and I put only the parts of my life I considered relevant to Aspergers, while probably leaving out any information that could prove otherwise. Tell the part I just ...

Don't get me wrong: I am not saying I want to be in a friend zone. Quite the opposite, I really want to date. But, at the same time, I want to have female friends as well. I guess I want both: to date one woman and to have other women as friends. I guess, even when I look at this board, when I see a...

And there's women like me and a few others I know who have always been single, no kids, no divorces. We do exist. You will find a nice single man. Have patience. Don't rush in. I was more complaining about cyberdad's list of female stereotypes. Well, the good thing is that you can quickly disprove ...

I wish Asperger's would be taken out of the autism umbrella. I think it should be a separate disorder, like dyspraxia, learning difficulties or ADHD. Most people with Asperger's that I know of are mostly eccentric, socially awkward but not clueless, good at masking, are highly sociable, can natural...

First year I was using uber I was unaware of the concept of passenger rating. But once I became aware, I started to improve my behavior in uber, and my rating improved. I didn't try too super hard; the areas I improved on was that a) I used to make uber wait; not any more. I guess part of it is due ...

My grandmother found out I go to this website and has said that I don't have autism. My father also does not want me on this website. I have tried telling her several times I have autism, and not only autism but also adhd, psychosis, and depression. I don't know why that's on her mind when I'm talk...
