...when you're the last person in your class to know that someone is interested in you...by being told that directly by others. 8O Seems to have happened to me most of my life, and when the few times someone then asks directly I am often so surprized that I say "No" because though I want ...

...people ask you what someone else is thinking, or why someone else did/said something, when you have no clue at all. ...people refuse to accept it when you say, "I don't know". My Mum does that. I answer "If you don't know then how do I know?" But how is that related to asperg...

Well...you and your spiders live in a wild remote untamed part of the world that Western science has barely penetrated! More remote than New Guinea, the Amazon, and Tibet, put together. You all live in....Wales! In the UK!   There are a few remote areas left in Wales such as the Wel...

Police only shoot as an absolute last resort as they are accountable for every death, and apart from that, the last thing any policeman or woman wants is to have a death on their record. They don't want anyone to die anyway. They want to save people if they can. Police are just normal people who hav...

8O ...if you didn't realize some people thought reading the dictionary was odd. My Mum was like a walking and talking dictionary and could read and write when she was three and when she was six she had read most of the adult books in her local public library which an aunt owned and ran and happened...

The problem is that sites take up a lot of time to run. Moderators themselves have a tough job in this because there can be a lot to do. How much work is deligated depends on the site owner and the software used. When the first time I moderated a site (Nothing to do with autism ans I was scared to m...

Just to point out above, I do not know if I am on the spectrum. If I am then my Mum is as well as we both share similar traits even though my Mum thinks in words and is like a walking encyclopedia and I differ in that I think in pictures and more of a daydreamer or designer. (Actually Mums Dad and h...

Is a great idea for a book, but as with many of these "Discoveries", they talk as if no one else knows about it but the locals have known about it for years. Take a look at the nearby paths which lead right up to the edge and it looks like they go down into it. It reminds me of these littl...

Something I want to also add to this is that in a way I have had a raw deal out of the education system, and this is because of factors beyond my control or some of the teachers control. It means that my qualifications never really reflected my abilities or my intelligence though in some ways they d...

I agree that you need someone to know you and to work alongside you as your representitive.
What you really could do with is a advocate who knows you and your history and can explain to the police or anyone else if things get out of hand.

Often had stages in my life where I appear to others as being too friendly which eventually ends up with me dissasociating myself with everyone and withdrawing myself and gradually re-introducing people back into my life and this cycle would repeat... But finally I have learned a tactic which works ...
