Judging by the fact that people keep saying "You look sad/scared" I'm guessing that my natural expression is both sad and scared. I rarely smile and I never know when it's appropriate to smile, if someone smiles at me I often forget to smile back because I'm freaking out about why they would smile a...

I like the second one, it looks very comfortable.
I can't stand tight-fitting clothes, when I wear them all I can think about is taking them off and putting something baggy and soft on.

Ever since I started school I've had comments about my "lack of participation in class discussions". Having the teachers tell me I'm not 'joining in' enough is not in any way going to help me be able to do so, so I really don't understand why they have to go on about it so much. Can they not respect...

Ah, yes, I get that quite a lot.
I also get asked: "Have you done ___ yet?" when I had no idea I was supposed to be doing said thing.
It's rather confusing.

I don't read things backwards but I very frequently find myself writing 'd's instead of 'g's and vice versa when handwriting.

I'm exactly the same way, I had no idea it was an AS-related thing. If asked what music I like, I generally just stammer out something like "I like most genres really" even though that's not actually true. I won't listen to my iPod around people I know in case they'll ask to listen to it.

When I´m alone, I have conversations with myself in my head, and boy, am I ever an amazing conversationalist! Then I may go out into life, be distant and "out of it", stumble all over my words, etc. But, I do think all the years of enjoying my own mental conversation has paid off...sometimes I find...

Would you mind if I added you as a contact on Flickr?

I'm either completely flat in facial expression or have a fixed smile I can't get rid of. It's extremely hard for me to be assertive or to discuss serious issues that concern me without getting into this state:  Therefore, others naturally assume the issue I am raising is not very serious. Sam...

I figured it was something along those lines, perhaps I'd be the first to notice an approaching attack, not that that would be much help, seeing as I'm not good at sprinting...
I just wondered if it was an aspie trait or if I was just even more of a freak than I initially thought I was.

I can relate to that. I'm acutely aware of what is going on in my peripheral vision and am easily distracted with peripheral sounds and movement. The optician even commented I have a very wide periphery vision, so it isn't just a brain thing. As for people with ducks on their heads, they also keep ...

For as long as I can remember movements in my far peripheral vision have really irritated me. For instance, if someone spins something and I can see it right at the edge of my vision it will annoy the hell out of me. I'll find it quite hard to concentrate on what I was previously doing because my at...

My legs shake if I'm around others for too long, it's really irritating. I get very tense in any type of social situations and I guess my muscles get a bit annoyed, heh. I also twitch but I think for me that's more effected by tiredness than anything else.

Yes, definitely. I'm never sure for what situations it should be written. It just feels...wrong either way. Like I'm lying to them.
