My mother and I wore masks while in the waiting room for my doctor's appointment last week. But we took them off when we left. I still see some people wearing masks, probably because they have health problems.

Did you hear about the man who had to get the left side of his body amputated?

Don't worry, he turned out to be all right.

I know it's just a cartoon, but why does Fred Flintstone need gas for his car if he can get going just by using his feet?

When I was a teenager I once had a slime collection. They were capsules of slime you could get out of vending machines back in the 80s and 90s. I had scented slime and glow in the dark slime and neon slime, and I liked to slime small plastic toy figures with them, or mix them all together into one b...

I had an awful time living in a group home for people with chronic mental illness in the 90s and I wasn't even diagnosed with Asperger's yet. Virtually no privacy, being surrounded by people who sometimes acted loud and disruptive while having to pretend everything is normal because they can't help ...

I have "mild" autism or Asperger syndrome, so naturally, no one cares or thinks my problems matter. They only care about the family members of "classic" autistic people. Also "mild" is really not the way to describe my so called level of autism. It's more like "hon...

I wish Walmart would have quiet hours at 2 to 3 pm, because that's when I normally go to their store to do my grocery shopping. But it will never happen, and even if it did, there's no longer a limit to how many people are allowed in the store since the covid restrictions were lifted, and they will ...

When I was younger I was reminded how cruel kids are when someone told me about a kid they knew who was given a can of store brand pop as a treat with her lunch by her mother, but when she went to school other kids were nasty and called it pop for poor people because it wasn't Coca-cola or some name...

Since molasses is so thick I would think you would float on the molasses, so you would probably be fine. It might be hard to get to shore though. Swimming in molasses would probably be very hard. Btw I think this thread is a great idea. You would sink in molasses if it was deep enough. In fact ther...

Reason why Disney games were so hard back in the days was because this was how Disney made money, they purposely made them hard so people would rent them over and over because they got part of the profit if their games got rented. They thought if they made them too easy, people wouldn't rent them a...

Since when are aliens interested in abducting important people like scientists, leaders, or doctors? No, they're always beaming up some sloppy drunk stumbling down a dirt road at night.

But being obese is bad for your health. I don't smoke or drink but I may die in a few years because of my weight. When I when my late 20s I worked extra hard exercising and eating healthy, and finally for the first in my life I was somewhat thin. Of course it was too good to last, and my obsessive f...

My mom told me the other day that my cousin, who is a teenager, says he doesn't like whipped cream. But he ate and liked my mom's coconut cream pie, which had whipped cream on it. When she told him this he didn't believe her. He didn't want the whipped cream left over from when my mother made coconu...

I'm against the US doing away with pennies because it would increase inflation. Companies would have an excuse to raise their prices to the nearest nickel ammount. Inflation happens anyway. I think in the 1970s a penny could get you a small gumball out of a gumball machine. But by the 80s it was ma...
