Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: Do you not care about how you look?

I'm just the opposite. I care way too much about how I look! If one little thing isn't perfect, it'll ruin my day. But I'm the type that gets emotional anyway. I also do beauty pageants and you have to be confident with how you look in order to compete. I never lose, so I'm obviously doing the right...

I know exactly what you're saying. I do a lot of these little compulsive things, and often times, I don't even realize it until I'm too late. For instance, I have a really bad habit of sitting on my legs and feet. It has gotten so bad, my knees are now physically messed up. For the longest time, we ...

Well, coming from someone who has two parents that are very much into sports and competitions, I can honestly say I do not think competitions are rediculous. There's nothing wrong with striving to be the very best you can be and the very best you can do. I compete in beauty pageants (doing a big one...

What I have problems with is the gossip. I hate how catty people can get even when they're twice my age. I think it's rediculous and unneccesary to gossip. As for the fakey games, I perfected that in twelfth grade (when I was actually ahead of the game for once!) so that doesn't bother me. But I jus...

I just like to go out there and have fun. My absolute favorite social activity is going to a theme park with friends. The time passes by really quickly when you have someone to talk to when you're waiting in line for those roller coasters. Hopefully I can find someone to bring to Kings Island with m...

I want one, but no one in my entire area wants to hire a small inexperienced 21-year-old. It's been over a year now since I've even had a job, so this has gotten really old...

I have them for two reasons: the first being genetics (dark eye circles can actually be inherited) and the other reason is because I need to gain weight (but I can't so I'm screwed).

I love spicy food! But I'm a native Texan so I was raised on it  Shirt tags and noise don't bother me in the least. However, I'm not really a huge fan of sunlight (if I'm outside, I'm usually wearing sunglasses, but that's the cool thing to do here anyway) and I'm very, very sensitive to pain....

I went to a really fun pirate party about a year and a half ago and had a great time! Basically, a dude at my mom's work was having a birthday and they all decided pirates was a cool theme. There were actually a bunch of different people (all ages) at the party. I ended up finding other teens/young ...

None of season 14 have been my absolute favorites yet, but there's still one more episode for this half to go so that could change

I'm into fashion but I can't get into those types of magazines at all. There's too many ads and I can't fit into anything anyway. I prefer catalogs and SKUs sooooo much more

No, I wish I was more normal. That way, obsessions wouldn't manifest my life, I'd be able to control my over-reactions (and not be afraid of getting sent to jail when I'm upset), and just that kind of stuff in general. I feel like I'm close to normallity, but I'm not so that does make things really ...

My mom always said I'd make the perfect judge. Though I just like being the boss and making others suffer for what they did wrong. I don't think I could ever be a special ed teacher though. The stress would get to me really quickly. I will add that I have helped out with the lower-functioning kids a...

Yep, I've always liked the series. I still remember seeing the first one in theaters clearly back when I was six. Good times, good times 8)

Can't wait to see the third!
