I didn't get my driver's license until I was 29. I took my driving test at a third party testing center and they were a lot more lenient than a DMV would have been. So I have my driver's license, but currently I don't have a car. I don't really like driving, anyway.

In the meantime I have been working jobs as a package handler at FedEx and as a grocery store cashier. I'm surprised nobody has already made a thread about this. The U.S. Supreme Court had a hearing a couple days ago on Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case that legalized abortion nationwide. Given the court's conservative tilt, there's a very real possibility that they will overturn Roe and leave the ...

Social conservatives are losers because: Queers + people who care about queers >>> people who hate queers They'll admit defeat eventually. Social conservatives quietly surrender when their positions once they run out of respectable rationalizations for their unrespectable positions. They'll just qu...

So I guess it's okay for homophobic lawmakers to encourage violence against LGBT people... A Republican lawmaker in Montana said that LGBTQ people who get beat up for holding hands in public are receiving the “normal consequences associated with the choices they made” and said that LGBTQ people “rec...

What establishment Democrats are we talking about? The party as a whole has been drifting more and more to the left in recent decades on both economic and social issues. Being critical of a politician is one thing. Acting as though both candidates were the same, which many leftists said about Clint...
