I'm 38 years old and still single. I've never been successful at dating. I've heard other older Aspie men say that they realized at some point that they just have no choice but to give up on ever having a girlfriend or getting married. I'm wondering if its time for me to accept that its just not pos...

I always had the exact opposite problem. Every woman I met wanted to be just friends. This while I watched everyone else around me dating and getting married and starting families. It made me wonder what's wrong with me.

Strange. Spell check wants me to spell it "ax". Is this a UK English vs American English thing?

Depending on what part of the world you live in, owning a car might or might not be a necessity. It pretty much is where I live in the US. I currently own a Toyota Sentra, but I still kind of miss the Honda Accord I totaled.

I've been on many dating sites, but nothing ever came from any of them. Nearly everyone I met through a dating site lost interest after one date. The only time someone agreed to a second date, I just didn't feel any attraction to her. I generally can't tell if I'm interested in someone without meeti...

I know that everyone hates the way their voice sounds. But it my case, others confirm how I feel every day. Every time I make a phone call I'm mistaken for a woman. I've been constantly called "ma'am" and asked if I'm my own mother or wife. In person, people always think I'm 10 years young...

I was reading a topic, and I saw at the bottom a link to another topic: Encouraging Stories in Love and Dating. When I clicked on it I found the following message: "This topic doesn't exist."

Sounds pretty consistent with my experiences over the past 20 years. What do you all think?

I sometimes feel like I lack imagination in some ways but not others. I do enjoy fiction a lot. But when I read prose I just can't get good images of the settings or events in my head, which is part of why I mostly read comics. I struggle when I try to write fiction. I have an idea for a character a...
