WOW, Sorry I asked! Are you sue you ALL have aspergers? Are the people claiming to have crack, etc... being serious? WOW! I was curious, and wanted to see if it was in line with MY actions. To this day, that has remained somewhat consistant, and strange. It IS a primary indicator of AS though! Steve

Well, I couldn't call it a STUDY. They obviously STUDied NOTHING: http://www.cesa7.k12.wi.us/SPED/autism/asper/asper11.html Ironically, http://www.wisconsinmedicalsociety.org/savant/aspergers.cfm Seems more correct and complimentary, and even refers to some of Hans work! Of course, Americans paid fo...

WOW, Remnant and Fraya, You put my life in a nutshell! And YEAH. They act like they all have datas emotion chip, and we don't, and they don't realize it is just CONTRIVED! The only value in it is for them because they all have it. Almost like a stock is driven mostly by the people that have or want ...

My experience is like plutos. I ALWAYS attracted autistic types, and some of that stuff fit, but there was the fact that I was so different from that spec. The US apparantly rewrote the definition of autism in 1996 JUST for people like me!

Funny thing. I USED to be able to work around ANY kind of sound, and noise didn't affect my sleep much. NOW, the opposite is true. Go figure. 8-( As for holding your breath, I have experienced that, and not blinking, also. I actually have to THINK about blinking sometimes. If I forget, my eyes can g...

SLCounselor, I KNOW. There HAVE to be intelligent people almost everywhere. I have seen DUMB people in jobs that required more intelligence, and smart guys at lower levels. Still, the US system, and many others, have rigged it to be like darwin in REVERSE! They have to AVOID hiring on merit to promo...

OK, I do ALSO! Certainly not COMPLETELY, but I remember times I was less than 2, in fact I remember some things from when I couldn't have been more than a few months old. It probably IS all there. I don't know if I TRULY forget anything(my problem is recall). My question was mainly rhetorical, and t...

I just read a "study" of "Aspergers", and it shows a FANTASTIC lack of understanding, etc..... It starts off saying aspergers affects 1 in 300, and affects boys ten times as much as girls. The rest makes me question EVERYTHING though! It says AS people can't really learn by hearing. WOW, then how co...

When I was young, I slept VERY little!(certainly less than 5 hours) Since Perhaps 15 years of age, 7:30 has been MAXIMUM! I HAVE at times slept for MUCH longer, for no apparant reason, but usually woke up tired. BTW this DOES exclude lucid dream periods. In cases like that, you COULD add a few hours...

Themachine1,

Oh well.... It HAS worked for others, and it DOES work for me. It IS better than cymbalta.

I can only speak for myself, and call attention to others.

BTW I never said it would work for EVERYONE.

Thanks Medusa, Yeah, I was still seeing more benefit from being an Aspie at that point in my life. Maybe it is the mistreatment, constant sensory bombardment, use of public transit, desire to fit in, and meet some nice friends, and not being able to supplement my otherwise poor diet, that have got m...

Medusa, YEAH, that is why I said "(Even though that has less benefit for many AS people)." I was depressed for SO long that I forgot that JOY! I HOPE to get it back! But I remembered while writing, and included that. Still, it isn't OVERLY that way. And what is wrong with being a bit MORE happy? The...

I have had ALL of that! The repeating in my mind of certain things is the most common. APPARANTLY, that isn't strictly autistic though. The next is probably repeating my own words under stress, etc... Next reading Next what someone else said. The repeating of my my own words is probably the most com...

Neon girl, As for the having to learn, whatever, we ALL understand how wierd the brain can be. I have lately remembered a LOT of old memories. It IS funny remembering things from 38+ years ago from times like when I was five, etc.... I guess I DID act more autistic then, I DID create some disturbanc...

I USED to "zone out" ALL THE TIME! My mother never understood it, and would try to like break me out of it. Soe people SWEAR they have seen me on the street, and I didn't react. Yet if they tailgated, slowed down in front of me, or on either side, etc... I certainly would have reacted. If you do you...
