Mother's side: Swiss, English, Italian
Father's side: Belgian, possibly some French.

Good for them :D. Hopefully their work helps break down the stereotypes people still have about DID.

You could put signs up in your neighborhood and have people come to your house to look at them, or go around offering door to door. In doing both you would have to endure the terrible experience of interacting with NT's.. Make signs for the pet stores (those that don't sell cats), veterinarians, an...

Lego will never stop being awesome :).

None fo my obsessions are very 'childish' or even child oriented but I do still enjoy some children's literature (especially A.A. Milne's stories and poems- Milne has a very sly sense of humor that I didn't pick up on until I was an adult).

Was this doctor a specialist in ASD's? Every doctor I've taken a baby book to has read it. Can you see a specialist if you want to? She didn't present herself as such, nor did swhe say anything to that effect either. I can either research the other doctors who do free assessemnts and see if any of ...

Also read Top 100 massacres. Remember the Massacre of the Innocents (Herold the Great), persecution of Jews, period, and that one woman who killed many people and bathed in their blood thinking she'll be eternally young. Interesting. Elizabeth Bathory was her name. One strange character. I know man...

Today was the day I went for an Asperger's assessment, after anticipating it for 5 months.I don't currently have the results (the doctor is going to send them to me) but all day I've felt very uneasy about how it was conducted. The dr who I met was very nice. We sat down and she said "So you're here...

While I have read all 7 HP books it's been some time and as such I couldn't compare book to film very accurately. That being said, I didn't mind this film. The various romances taking plot precedence annoyed me, however. I'm pleased to see Draco's character seeming less vampiric this time around. Fo...

As a student of comparative religion I have long felt that Christianity would benefit from an atheistic approach, making it more similar to Buddhism then to a religion (simply following the teachings of the religions founder). Take away the whole 'god told me to do this' defense and I think you'd ha...

Not a huge fan of snakes but your babies are gorgeous. I hope Ace does okay. That picture of Brianna and Bryon side by side is mindboggling- if I didn't know better I would never have guessed they were the same age. Congratulations on your new pets. Actually Bryon is the dad. That's why the baby's ...

Sweeny Todd : Fantastic cast, beautifully filmed but towards the end I honestly thought I was going to throw up. American History X : Have only been able to watch it once. I can usually handle violent films but this one just sent me over the edge. Boys Don't Cry : Same reasons as AHX. Plus the hist...

And thanks for the rottewiller reference, homeowners. Glad to see stereotypes never die. Glad I'm not the only one angered by that remark. This article made me laugh.
