The only time I've stayed in the hospital was for a broken ankle they had to fix with a bunch of surgical screws. After the operation, I was drugged up to my eyeballs and since after waking up I refused anything stronger than over-the-counter pain-killers, I was in so much pain that I couldn't get a...

Give it a chance, sly, and wait a bit longer. For now, it was just a heated conversation and no decisions have actually been made yet. I'm also waiting to see who the new admin(s) and mods are going to be. We can all have a chat here while waiting and if you can, get some rest https://cdn-0.tailandf...

Life-long insomniac here - I'm an extreme probably, but nothing worked for me. Medication was a disaster, particularly barbiturates and benzos (paradoxical and side effects). I think I've tried every herb, tea, old-wives remedy, sex, alcohol, pot, CBD, kratom and a variety of supplements. No opium (...

PJ Harvey, Tracy Chapman, Tanita Tikaram and Marlene Dietrich are also good examples.

Meanwhile here's Nina Simone:

If I've come off as sounding like I'm constantly screaming like I've a telephone pole shoved through my body for the past two years it's because I've persistently been in the sort of pain equivalent to of having had a f*****g telephone pole shoved through my body. Have you considered staying out of...
