Wow, I wish I had your problem with money! I have to scrimp and save and ponder and weigh the pros and cons before buying even one DVD, let alone a box set, LOL.
As for TV, all I have are "Monk" Seasons 1 and 2. I have some anime series, too, and am hoping to get "Firefly" for Christmas. |

Quote: That's really cute, in a strange way. Better than being ignored, I guess.
Heheh, yeah, I guess so. I thought it was funny, actually. They were pleased that they made me laugh. (Though it's really not too hard to do). |

I was about to make a post like this. I have two questions: 1. Do people send these signals out unconciously, or do they do it with the intent of conciously "flirting" and advertising their interest? 2. How can you tell if a guy is interested in you? Your description seems rather accurate for female... |

Most of the time I have no expression (flat affect, I guess). My coworkers poked fun at me for it, once. Saying things like "I'm Michelle, and I'm sad" : | "I'm Michelle, and I'm depressed" : | "I'm Michelle, and I'm really really excited" : | . Sometimes I get expressions on my face that I am not a... |

I had a lock put on the inside myself that only I knew how to undo properly. Not a key lock, more like one of those slidey locks. I came home from school and found my door busted upon and the lock on the floor. That's something my family would do, I imagine. We all have those cheap button-type lock... |

How did "coming out of the clauset" become a meaning for announcing homosexuality? A clauset is a piece of furniture, and homosexuality is part of a living being, not a good match is it? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I always thought it was based upon that silly game teenagers play where tw... |

Have you tried explaining to your mom how it makes you feel when she does that? Yes. She knows it upsets me. That's why she threatened to do it in order to get me to clean. She said she wanted to clean my room. I told her no. She said she wanted to help me clean, and I told her we could do that, bu... |

It just really throws me off and confuses me. It doesn't feel like my room anymore. If she had done it while I was there atleast I would have seen it happen, and would also know where she moved things to. Also, she threatened to clean it if I didn't do what she asked me to do. I did what she asked m... |

My mother cleaned my room. Granted, it has been in need of a cleaning, but we agreed that if I just took care of a couple parts of it this morning before work it'd be enough for now. So I did. I don't know if it wasn't to her satisfaction, or what, but my mother came in and cleaned my room while I w... |

It was supposed to be in theaters by now but it seems to be delayed. It's floating around on bittorrent but... |

My family never got any magazines when I was a kid, so when I first encountered one in a physician's office I was completely befuddled. I didn't know how to find any of the articles, and was not clear on whether or not I should be reading it cover to cover or a bit at a time. I still have trouble wi... |

It's like a different way of experiencing the world. Well, it is a different way of experiencing the world. Many times I have been told I have a "unique" or "special" way of viewing things. I can be fascinated by the smallest things, as an example, light reflecting off of water. Simple things can al... |

wow - I had just posted a question about driving on the Teen Forum. My son got his permit easily - aced the test. But after taking road lessons, is nowhere near being able to drive. He's 18. He's very anxious about the whole thing and isn't really sure if he will ever get his license. He didn't lik... |

Text is easier for me to concieve/make sense of than spoken language, actually. The form of the words and the sounds are one, for me. Sometimes meaning matters, sometimes I get caught up on what looks and sounds interesting (for example, I love alliteration). Spoken language, on the other hand, ther... |

Not sure if it's exactly as you say (I don't "see" words literally) but when hearing them I often picture them and see how they're spelled. For example, if someone spells their name differently than how I had expected, it surprises me greatly because it changes the whole "sound/image" for me. |
