I only once worked in an open plan office. I was miserable. Fortunately, I was fired (for feeling miserable) and found a much better job right away.

From my experience of several decades of trying, I know that asking what's wrong doesn't work. They don't tell you. They either don't know or they don't want to say.

Izaak, I enjoyed reading your post and admire your ability to travel alone for long periods. Btw, I stayed at the MGM in Vegas for a few days once, it was lovely.

I'll check to see if there's one in my community. Trying to organize one would be good, but I'm afraid not many aspie adults know they have Asperger's around here. Frankly, I think this is my last try, because apart from it I've tried everything there is with no success whatsoever...

Except for work, where I'm not supposed to wear the same every day, I wear the same dress all summer and the same training suit the rest of the year. I only buy clothes and shoes for work.
