Yes, very feminist. I work with mostly men; many different jobs. When a man with less experience/skill than me gets promoted over me, or gets paid more, it upsets me.

Make eye contact and smile right when you first meet the interviewers, and shake hands. And when you leave, do the same. That will make a good first and last impression. As for the middle part, make sure you know your stuff in regards to the position you're actually applying for. That's the most imp...

BTW, I know several non-Aspies who still don't have their license, and maybe never will. When I was 16, it felt like I absolutely HAD to get my license, there was no choice. But today it's much harder to even get your licence--you have to do a special program where first you need a qualified driver ...

I don't know what I want. I feel like slamming my fists into the earth and shouting at the heavens 'Why does fate seem to love my brother more than me!" I swear his is good at most things I wish could do like talking to people, cooking, warming up a room, and being all around confident. But there a...

Do you WANT a drivers license? There are Aspies who drive, although it is definately more of a challenge. That's a myth . Driving is a piece of cake. It only requires practice and desire . The one most Aspies lack that I see here on WP is the desire . I didn't have it when I turned driving age, eit...

I was diagnosed with Asperger's a few months ago. Yesterday, I spoke with friends I hadn't seen since last summer. When I mentioned my diagnosis, both of them said, " Oh, yeah, totally! You mean, you didn't know?" Anyone else have this happen? People that know you're AS and assume you know it too. ...

Are you in high school still or college? Some teachers don't care, but most do. It's not a particularly high-paying job, and there's lots of hours, so most people willing to teach really care about what they do and encouraging students to do their best. Could you transfer to another class with a fem...

Why not report it to the police? Just because you got some of your money back; the guy probably meant to rob you and then changed his mind. Maybe he's tried robbing people before. I would still report it.

If your mom doesn't have AS herself, how could she possibly understand? You have to do what's right for yourself. Is it worth it for YOU to get a diagnosis? Are you having problems in your everyday life which you think might be related to AS?

Just because the principal is male, doesn't mean he will act the same way as the teacher. If you just write down the specifics, like why you're getting such low grades now when you used to get A's, then it won't look like whining... you are just trying to get better grades. If you know for sure that...

zee- that really sucks what happened to you. I know exactly how that feels because of the incident that encouraged me to post here as well. The male teacher that only gives good grades to the hot chicks. I used to have A's in that subject because we had a nonbiased(nonlesbian) female teacher that d...
