I just retired from my main job at age 62.

I still work part-time at a library.

I’m lucky to be relatively healthy with relatively few aches and pains.

I hope this isn’t a manic episode, and that you are truly happy and motivated.

Looks can be important…..but they certainly aren’t the final determinant of whether a person is suitable.

After high school age, most of the time, other qualities supersede “looks.”

I’d rather go out with an “ugly” person who smells nice than a model who stinks.

I got bored so I decided to post this fun questionnaire. I like these sorts of questionnaire type threads. Note: I didn't actually make these questions, just copied and pasted from a Facebook status. 1. Last food you ate? KitKat (chocolate bar) 2. Last drink you had? Fanta 3. Last movie you watched...

What “makes you a man” is treating people decently, not sponging off people, being a gentleman to a woman, and not being a jerk in general.

Did Clint Eastwood ever have a fancy car?

Of course I read your post, Joe.

You haven’t commented on any of MY posts here :)

Of course you make good sense. Your boyfriend, like my wife, is not the Cat’s Meow in a conventional sense—but is way good enough in the true sense.

I agree that most guys here wouldn’t just go for blondes….but they sometimes place too much value on looks over substance, and don’t see what’s real…that most couples aren’t “power couples.”
